I don't know if this is completely accurate because I haven't watched many of the episodes that don't include Peridot, but Steven Universe was much less funny without Peridot there. There were the occasional funny moments, but the episodes as a whole were a lot more boring and I actually stopped in the middle of an episode because I got bored.
I'm the same Peridot minded person. I'm funny, I like calling a lot of humans clods and I'm a little angry slice of pie. I also love Lapis and hate Earth.
My favorite Perisode (episode about Peridot) is Log Date 7 15 2. The entire episode made me laugh.
