Top Ten Greatest Games Showcased from E3 in 2017

These games left an impression, an impact to how that game will be come release. We see these games as something new, and potentially be phenomenal later down the year, or early next year. They define that the video game industry is alive and well with new and innovative games to greatness.
The Top Ten
1 Beyond Good and Evil 2

How many of you expected Beyond good and Evil 2 to appear at all in Ubisoft's conference? I'm assuming that number was a minimal of 10%, if you actually saw it coming than I applaud you, but for the rest of the 90% got a real big surprise shocker. Then you were treated to possibly the best moment of the entire E3 is by seeing this game, and not knowing that it is indeed the long awaited sequel to another underrated classic.

2 Super Mario Odyssey

Mario can now possess anything. That is awesome. I may have to get a Switch soon before October.

Yes! another Super Mari game, Yes! another reason to buy a Nintendo Switch, Yes! it looks just as fun as all the previous games. Yes! a dinosuar in the trailer to think of something else instead is Odyseey.

Catchiest song in the world

3 Star Wars Battlefront II (2017)

Its no lie I pretty said I had very high expectations for the second, and man does it look good or what. It plays more like a battlefield game which is not bad by any means. Th difference between the two will be vast, and yet greater than we could imagine. Playing as Darth Maul looks like a blast as they showed. 3 different eras in one game no matter what I'm getting this game because I'm a die hard Star Wars fan.

This game might be epic!

4 Spider-Man (PS4)

The game everyone went nuts, and praise just got a lot more interesting, web to web with very unique style combination of story, while using gameplay that works great, and very well gets the W for me sony.

It's like Arkham with the Spiderman twist. It looks really solid. I just hope Insomniac can pull off a good and interesting story to coincide with it as well.

5 Far Cry 5

With a more southern setting approach it at least expands from the previous game.

6 Assassin's Creed Origins

I thought it was fine for what it did, but hey the fanbase likes it enough I had no problem with it appearing twice.

By far the best

7 The Evil Within 2

A lot of people loved the first game, let's see what the 2nd game has in store.

8 Cuphead

My first impression when I saw this was like huh when it was on the games we look forward to, and despite it showing a good few seconds was just enough for me to give it a liking, and being kinda invested in its cartoon gameplay like style that definitely stands out.

9 Monster Hunter: World

Turok meets Jurassic world, lol I mean that's I can see while watching this.

10 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Hey if Bethesda could treat games like Prey, Doom, & Quake with great games. Then Wolfenstein is in that category. While the new order was very alright, I think based on what I have seen the second one it seems to possibly be better.

The Contenders
11 God of War (2018)

Kratos is back, and better than ever? Well the story seems a bit far from anything we have seen before which is good, this game introduces his son which I find incredibly different already. For those fans mythology then you'll most likely love this game, or play the previous before jumping into this one.

The scene where Kratos and his son encounter the huge serpent was just awesome. I could feel my speakers rumble when the serpent spoke.
I'm still super excited for this.

12 Metro: Exodus

Metro for the most part felt very underrated as a series, for Microsoft to open, and Start with a Metro game was very interesting. It looks fun, and could very well be a not only solid, but has a great chance of being the best in it series which might be a bit of a tough task.

13 Dragon Ball Fighter Z

Anyone that's a fan of the franchise, and or this anime series may want to play this game, and have it in their collection of other anime fighting games.

Xenoverse is cool and all but it would be nice to have a normal 2D fighter like the Budokai games, and it looks like this will be just that.

14 Metroid Prime 4

Yeah that's right you heard me right, there is a 4th game going to be on the switch. Although we know little of it it does get us excited for this epic series.

All we needed was that confirmation and we were set. Good job Nintendo

15 Days Gone

The new gameplay demo gets me really excited and it's nice to see some good dialogue and animation from the characters. It reminds me a bit of Uncharted in a way. I'll be picking this up day one for sure.

This takes stealth combined with horror and it is awesomely executed. I liked it when it first appeared, the second time around just as satisfying.

16 Crackdown 3

Making its first appearance two years ago which was exciting to say the least. No appearance last year who knows why, and then it returns one last time with great approval of having Terry Crews is somewhat fitting if there ever would be a crackdown movie he would be the dude in the cover lol. The game looks insanely fun, and has great potential to surpass the 2nd game.

17 South Park: The Fractured but Whole

Literally the South Park game people have anticipated for 7 years now as the sequel to the awesome Stick of Truth may just be as good.

18 Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

Takes action RPG's into a unique way, while the first was very okay. I do see why people like these type of games.

19 Metroid: Samus Returns
20 Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Looks good, a solid game for the series perhaps.

21 Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Some people may hate this idea, and I totally understand, but I only really liked the trailer because it had humor, but also rock music well done Ubisoft you totally shocked me this year.

22 Life is Strange: Before the Storm

Yes that's right, for those who loved Life is Strange will probably like this just as equally.

23 Shadow of the Colossus Remake

I gotta say of all remakes I've seen the past year this one looks the best, stunning visuals, and a classic from the PS2 era.

24 Kirby (2018)

Yeah I know another Kirby game, but we have no idea what this one is suppose to be, or what it is really from the little we seen.

25 A Way Out

This game shows off its kind of 2 player aspect with you, and your in this case (cell mate). It was a game I had no idea what it was, but hey you made an impression to me despite the majority of E3 games being of Sports.
