Top Ten Growlanser II Characters
A lot of characters in this jRPG, with loads of character interaction as well.The main hero, the wannabe Imperial Knight. You control his actions, he can side with the enemy or do the right thing. Wields a golden scythe.
Growlanser's original protagonist, returning as a playable here. Almost as important as Wein, and interestingly gets voiced in this game (he was a silent protagonist in the first Growlanser).
The close friend of Wein who decided to leave the Burnstein military to become a politician. Of course, all politicians end up as corrupt as he ends up being.
My favorite female in this game, mostly because she's actually powerful in combat with her bow. A very serious character.
A former Growlanser character turned optional character for Growlanser II. He had no interest in the world after being sentenced to exile and it's up to Wein to change that, and for the better too.
A Growsian girl who is possessed by Gevas for the majority of the game. It's up to Wein to stop her from doing Gevas' evil deeds, and possibly even saving her. Wein knows her from his childhood.
Arieta is beautiful
Mercenary leader and a major antagonist, Wolfgang leads his mercenaries to victory of a democratic nation, which threatens the nearby kingdoms. He is connected to Wein in a special way as well.
A Shadow Knight of Burnstein, she works undercover helping people out and joins Wein along the way.
Growing up in an orphanage is tough for Hans, but he manages and joins the knight's service. Kind of an annoying character but he's decent in combat.
A former mercenary and an arena champion, Xenos is kind-hearted, but knows his business, swearing to protect his sister Karene and his friends. Powerful attacker but no magic ability.
