Most Gender Confused Pokemon

Pokemon who can be one gender but look too masculine or femine.
The Top Ten
1 Primarina

Can you believe that 87.5% of these are male?

Still like it though

2 Lopunny Lopunny, known in Japan as Mimilop, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Lopunny does look like it is 100% female. They should make a branched off evolution for male bunearies.

Look up lopunny. Male. You'll see.

All lopunny should be female

3 Gardevoir Gardevoir is a third-generation Pokémon species originally introduced as a Psychic type creature in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Well, it was actually intended to be more masculine, judging by its Japanese name "Sirknight". People got confused, so they introduced Gallade.

They should make Gardevoir look different if it's male.

4 Gothitelle
5 Delphox Delphox, known in Japan as Mahoxy, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

She looks more like a female BUT why is her gender ratio 7 males to 1 female?

A beautiful pokemon. Her gender ratio should be changed

6 Kirlia Kirlia, known in Japan as the same name, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Male Kirlia should look different than the females.

7 Mismagius

Most of these Pokemon should be female.

8 Jynx Jynx, known in Japan as Rougela, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. She is known as one of the more humanoid pokemon.

There’s nothing confusing with jynx they look like females and are all females. Jynx is based off of a Japanese trend for girls & is why they kinda look weird.

The most nicki minaj looking Pokemon in the world.

9 Braixen Braixen is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon franchise's sixth generation. It evolves from Fennekin and is characterized by its witch-like appearance and the twig it carries. Braixen's twig can be used to cast spells and generate flames for attacks. Its design reflects its potential for... read more
10 Machamp Machamp, known in Japan as Kairiky, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

This guy is SO a male

The Contenders
11 Eevee Eevee, known in Japan as Eievui, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise first introduced in the games Pokemon Red and Blue. Considered as the evolution Pokemon, it has the most evolutions out of all Pokemon species. Eevee can evolve to Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon depending on the method used. It serves as the mascot in the game Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee!

Eevee needs to become 50/50, how it's like now is sexist against female fans. If this doesn't happen in gen8 and onwards I'm going to give up on the Pokemon franchise, I refuse to keep supporting a sexist series like this. Same goes for starters, Vulpix, etc.

It should be 50/50 because half of is evolutions are more feminine (glaceon, sylveon, espeon, leafeon)

Eevee looks feminine, but the vast majority of them are actually male.

Not gender confused, but super ugly.

12 Mr. Mime Mr. Mime, known in Japan as Barrierd, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Mr. Mime can be female because in Japan, its name has no gender pronouns. Also, its creation predates the introduction of genders.

All Mr. Mime should be male!

13 Hitmonchan

Isn't it weird that this thing with a dress is 100 percent male. I mean, if it's gonna have a dress, at least make it 50 % female

100 percent Male. Not to be sexist, but, the dress makes this look like a female

14 Reshiram Reshiram, known in Japan as the same name, is a Legendary Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Opinions on his gender vary.

15 Diancie Diancie, number 719 and the Jewel Pokémon is a mythical Pokémon in the game series Pokémon. It features in its own movie in the Pokémon anime series called "Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction". This Pokémon can also Mega Evolve.
16 Sylveon Sylveon, known in Japan as Nymphia, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
17 Bellossom
18 Fennekin Fennekin, known in Japan as Fokko, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
19 Jigglypuff Jigglypuff, known in Japan as Purin, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.

Everyone mistakes it for a female due to its voice in the anime and Super Smash Bros. Myself included as well.

Its gender ratio is fine as is.

20 Pikachu Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ) are a species of Pokémon, fictional creatures that appear in an assortment of video games, animated television shows and movies, trading card games, and comic books licensed by The Pokémon Company, a Japanese corporation. A mascot of the Pokemon franchise, it's considered to be the most iconic character of all Pokemon species, as well as a major character in Japanese pop culture, due to its companionship with Ash Ketchum in the anime series. Pikachu has been featured in movies such as Pokemon Detective Pikachu as well as music videos - most notably Katy Perry's "Electric" in 2021.

Not really. Its gender ratio is a even 50/50

21 Brionne
22 Popplio Popplio, known in Japan as Ashimari, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
23 Geodude
24 Clefairy Clefairy, known in Japan as Pippi, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise.
25 Alakazam Alakazam is a Psychic-type Pokemon that was first introduced in Game Freak's Pokemon Red & Green (Blue for outside of Japan) version. Alakazam is the final evolution of the Abra line. It evolves from Kadabra when traded. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it evolves from Kadabra when given a Linking Cord. It is said to have an IQ of 5000 and is a human-like Pokemon. It has high special attack and speed, and is good for Alakazam with its poor defense & mediocre special defense. ...read more.
