There's been few characters that were Captain Marvel for years, but Carol Danvers (formally Ms. Marvel) takes the rightful place as the new Captain Marvel.

3 Ironheart

I'm not for sure what'll happen next to Tony Stark in Civil War II, but a teenage girl named Riri Williams might take over Iron Man's place as Ironheart. People ain't happy about her as a new iron hero, but since issue 1 of Invincible Iron Man came out, there're some people getting adjust to this new series.

4 Thor (Jane Foster)

Although she's been dealing with cancer, Jane Foster is now granted and worthy to become the new Thor while the original went unworthy after Original Sin.

She was the unrivaled Master of the Mystic Arts and a mentor to Doctor Stephen Strange. Her origins are a mystery to her students and have yet to be revealed in the MCU.

This gender-swapped only happens in the MCU, even though there's a bit of controversy about whitewashing.
