Top Ten Genres that Certain Music Artists Should Never Try to Do

These artists, good or bad music, should never try these genres, it won't suit them and they will give the genre a bad name or ruin their careers. Their voices or musical styles won't fit the genre in any way, no matter if they are good or not. Even though there are artists that are good at more than one genre, there is always a limit as well. We all have a type of music that suits us and doesn't suit us.

The Top Ten

1 Opera - Nicki Minaj

She's come close to that level of soul a few times. She's a hit-or-miss rapper, but damn if she isn't a great singer. - WonkeyDude98

Eh. That depends. She sings atrociously on songs like "Starships", "Side to Side", and "Swish Swish", but she's pretty decent on "Grand Piano" and "Save Me". - DCfnaf

I'm not sure because she has a really good singing voice. I think she could do this. - lovefrombadlands

She is an okay singer, but I definitely do not think she can do opera. - AnimeDrawer

2 Death Metal - Taylor Swift

Honestly these would all be pretty interesting. - IronSabbathPriest

Hey, that would be fun - Neonco31

Taylor Swift attempting Death Metal would actually be something we'd all sign up to watch :P. Does it well (regardless of that 0.5 - 2% chance) or not, she's definitely destroying her fanbase :P. - CrimsonShark

3 Alternative Rock - Dahvie Vanity

Dahvie is a pedophile and a rapist who touches his fangirl's boobs and rapes girls. - PeeledBanana

4 Bubblegum Pop - Cannibal Corpse

Imagine Cannibal Corpse singing a children's version of Hammer Smashed Face with the same lyrics, but then in sing-a-long style, and with a pop beat and upbeat tempo.

The fanatics will lose their pizza when this happens, lol - Neonco31

I wonder what would happen... - wrests

Just google on the internet: Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face (Radio Disney Version)
You know what I mean. - Kiyomi

5 Country - Justin Bieber
6 Hard Rock - Borgore
7 Rap - Green Day

They semi-tried this with Nightlife.

Good god, kill me. - WonkeyDude98

8 Country Rap - AC/DC

What? That would sound absolutely terrible. - Lucretia

9 Deathcore - Iron Maiden

I'm a big fan of Iron Maiden, because I LOVE how melodic it is.
So I won't be happy when this happens, because Deathcore music is not melodic. - Kiyomi

10 Black Metal - Metallica

No. Don't you ever sign a deal with the devil. NO! - Neonco31

It's funny considering how they dressed up as Mayhem in the video to ManUNkind. - Aragorn98

Should Have Put Raeggeton - waldo

The Contenders

11 Children's Music - Suicide Silence

Now I Know Where Annabelle comes from - waldo

Well this band is already trash - Lucretia

12 Reggaeton - Blink-182

Oh I can easily see this. - ProPanda

I disagree with the lyrics because Blink has more meaning to their lyrics than any Reggaeton artist. I agree with the drumbeats though, I did notice that. Not sure about the vocal styles, - AnimeDrawer

Nooo! I cannot imagine Blink-182 singing to this horrendous genre in Spanish and Tom knows how to speak Spanish, but I am glad this will never happen. - AnimeDrawer

13 Death Metal - Katy Perry

Well, on the contrary, Alissa White-Gluz could "Roar".

I would like to see Katy Perry sing that with a death growl though... - CrimsonShark

14 Heavy Metal - Jacob Sartorius

I want to see this! - EliHbk

He would mess his voice up. - Lucretia

15 Electro-Pop - Iron Maiden

No. Steve is a a king of bass, and Bruce can not sing anything less then metal. - Lucretia

It Would Be Sad - waldo

Iron Maiden is awesome, they are a very important band in the Heavy metal genre.
So I won't be pleased if Iron Maiden makes an electro-pop song.
Just try to imagine what would happen if Bruce Dickinson auto-tunes his voice. - Kiyomi

16 Hip Hop - Sam Hunt

What do you mean? He already is! - PandaDude98

17 Crunkcore - Angels And Airwaves
18 Power Metal - Jacob Sartorius

If he can't make a rap song without a ton of editing and autotune that sounds decent you can't do power metal - Lucretia

I imagine 'Nightfall' by Blind Guardian with autotuned vocals.
It sounds awful. - Kiyomi

19 Thrash Metal - Jacob Sartorius Thrash Metal - Jacob Sartorius Thrash Metal is a Heavy Metal subgenre developed during the early 1980s and an early precursor of Extreme Metal. Thrash Metal features a faster and more aggressive guitar work than Traditional Metal with shredding and double-bass drums and can range from melodic singing to loud shouts. more.

He would lose his voice and use autotine, like, 90 percent of the time - Lucretia

20 Bubblegum Pop - Belphegor

Belphegor is one of the few extreme metal bands that I like, and they have a good combination of shrieked and grunted vocals.
Bubblegum Pop? Give me a no. - Kiyomi
