Glam is a tricky genre but one thing that is a common misconception is that every band considered "Glam Metal" is metal even though that isn't true some bands aren't metal because they don't play metal riffs but Hard Rock riffs (Ex. Poison, Cinderella, Warrant, Bon Jovi, Ratt) But some Glam bands do play metal however most of the time these songs aren't well known, and because they play metal riffs they are on Encyclopaedia Metallum and these bands are on the website.Yes, they were originally a glam band, but glam band with more metal i.e. Judas Priest and Metallica influences. They played music with least glam elements when Phil joined the band, but even the first album with Phil, Power Metal contained some glam songs (Rock the World, We'll Meet Again, Hard Ride)

They used to be a Glam Band which I think they had more metal songs than Hard Rock however they later became a full metal band
