Top 10 Best Good Guys from the Incredibles

Incredibles 2 is finally here! Because of that, let’s take a look at the first movie from 14 years ago and discuss the best characters that are good guys. No villains are allowed on this list.
The Top Ten
1 Lucius Best/Frozone

Frozone is one of the greatest superheroes of all time! While Elsa can actually cause it to snow and can create living things with her powers, Frozone can legitimately surf on ice. And that it just so amazing. One of the best things about him is that he’s voiced by Samuel L. Jackson. I wasn’t very familiar with him when I saw the movie, but now I have much higher appreciation for him. He’s great in the MCU movies and he’s definitely great here. Aside from being an awesome superhero, Lucius is also an awesome dude when not in costume. Which is shown when him and Bob are hanging out during the night. There is so much to love about Frozone. He is a cool dude.

There are two reasons he is number 1

1.Samuel L Jackson

2 Helen Parr/Elastigirl

Elastigirl is awesome! One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when she’s trying to save her husband. That’s when we really see how tough she is. Also, she is ridiculously hot. She has such a nice butt. Anyway, she really has her moments to shine in this movie, but she gets more moments like that in the sequel. Which I think is a brilliant idea. The first movie was Mr. Incredible’s story and the sequel is Elastigirl’s story. I feel like that was a good idea. When I see the sequel, I will definitely do a review of it.

3 Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible Robert "Bob" Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible, is the protagonist of The Incredibles and is the deuteragonist of Incredibles 2. He is voiced by Craig T. Nelson.

Mr. Incredible is the main character of the film and a character we really care a lot about. After superheroes became outlawed, Bob has been having to deal with being a normal father and has to deal with normal situations. He misses the glory days and wants to fight evil again. Since he’s the main character, he gets the most development. We understand his problems very well. He kinda reminds me of my dad in a way. That’s probably another reason why I think he’s a great character. He’s shown to care a lot about his family and wants to do whatever he can to protect them. Bob really is a very great and understandable character. Not just one of the best characters in the Incredibles, but also one of the best Pixar characters ever. Along with Syndrome.

He is strong and amazing! He is fantastic! Should be number 1!

4 Edna Mode Edna Mode is a fictional character from Pixar's Incredibles Franchise. She is a well-known suit designer for super heroes of all kind. She has a slightly spunky attitude and firmly believes that your costume should be powerful, while still looking good.

Ah yeah! Time to talk about the fashion designer herself, Edna Mode. Without her, the Incredibles wouldn’t have those sweet outfits. She knows how to design a good superhero outfit. She even has the brains to know that giving capes to superheroes is a bad idea. Which is weird since Superman wears a cape and nothing has happened to him. But yeah, capes are dangerous. Although, she pretty much got a bunch of superheroes killed by giving capes to them. I wonder why it took her so long to realize that. That’s kinda dark now that I think about it. Edna also manages to make sure that the costumes work with their powers. She gives great explanations on how they work. Edna is one of the best characters in the movie. Brad Bird does a great job of voicing her.

Fun fact: she was inspired by famous Hollywood costume designer Edith Head

5 Violet Parr Violet Parr is a fictional character from The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. The movies follow her and her family as superheros, living in a world where superheros are known as destructive and must abide only by their secret identities. Violet has the power of invisibility (reflecting her quiet personality) and force field creation, identical to Invisible Woman (from an unrelated franchise). She is the eldest child of the family, aged at 14 years old, with younger brothers Dash and Jack-Jack, and parents Bob and Helen.

Violet is the older sibling of the family. She has the ability to turn herself invisible and create force fields. Each family member's power matches their personality. Since Violet is a shy, insecure teenager, it's fits that she can become invisible. I didn't care for her that much when I first watched the movie, but I've grown to respect her. Especially since I can relate to her. Haven't seen Incredibles 2 yet, but I heard she's a lot more developed in that movie. Which is great since she wasn't all that interesting in the first movie. Can't wait to see.

6 Dash Parr

Dash reminds me of me when I was a kid. He’s a very hyperactive child who loves to annoy his sister. Of all the characters in the movie, he’s probably the funniest. He also gets a lot of cool moments. He can actually run on water. That’s pretty awesome. He helps out quite a lot in the final battle. His super speed is very useful. He’s a kid, but a pretty smart one. Even though he can be a little annoying at times. He’s honestly a great character. Definitely a highlight of the film.

7 Rick

He has a last name, but I'm not gonna put it because the LAST TIME I tried to put a name that uses that prefix, my comment got removed! So I'm just not gonna risk it. Basically, Rick is part of the NSA. The National Supers Agency. It's basically his job to cover up any accidents that the supers make. Considering superheroes illegal, he wants to make sure that they don't get into any trouble. This involves erasing memories and relocating superheroes. So he's always on top of things when it comes to keeping them from being seen. Bud Luckey played the character very well. I miss him so much. After watching that sneak peek of the sequel at Disney California Adventure, I personally don't think Jonathan Bank is nearly as good as Bud Luckey.

8 Jack Jack

Jack Jack is so adorable! However, since he's just the baby, he's not focused on a lot. He's gonna have a much larger role in the sequel though. With that being said, he is still very great. While not doing much for most of the film, his moment to shine comes at the very end when he defends himself against Syndrome by using his powers. Of course, his parents didn't see him using his powers since he was too high up, but apparently some people don't seem to realize that. They eventually do find out about his powers in the sequel though. There was a short that was released with the DVD called Jack Jack Attack in which we see what was happening while he was being babysat. He was so hilarious in that short. I hope he's just as hilarious as that in the sequel.

LOL Jack-Jack has infinite powers because babies can do practically anything (like wreck your house). Poor Kari the babystitter.

9 Gilbert Huph

Gilbert Huph is Bob’s boss. And he fires Bob for throwing him into a wall. There’s not much to this character other than being kind of a cranky little guy. But what makes this character enjoyable for me is Wallace Shawn’s performance. I already enjoyed his performance as Rex in Toy Story, and I just find him kinda hilarious in this movie. Wallace Shawn can make any character he plays very enjoyable for me.

10 Honey/Frozen's Wife
The Contenders
11 Kari

Kari is the babysitter that Dash and Violet hired to babysit Jack Jack. She has a very small appearance in the movie, but we see more of her in the short called Jack Jack Attack. She’s pretty hilarious. I don’t know why, but her voice makes me laugh. Having to put up with Jack Jack and his out of control powers is very hard. So it’s amazing how she’s able to get through it and stay completely sane. Okay, she actually goes crazy later on and even gives Jack Jack to Syndrome. Very traumatizing experience for her. At least she got her memory wiped.
