Great Games that are Not as Good as They Used to Be

You know the feeling of going back and playing a game from your childhood only to come to the conclusion that these games are STILL GREAT, but not as good as you remember it because of technical limitation, controls, graphics, of just game play.
The items in this list have been selected by the author of the list for you to vote and comment on.
The Top Ten
1 Mortal Kombat - Slow clunky gameplay and cheap frustrating enemies

Game was a revolution but these days it is borderline just unplayable, clunky, and not very fun

2 Tomb Raider - Bad camera, bad controls, and many poorly executed platforming segments
3 Splinter Cell - Cheap enemy AI, "Trial and Error" gameplay, and confusing mission objectives
4 Golden Eye - controls are bad, ugly graphics, choppy frame, & unclear mission objectives
5 Crash Bandicoot - Bad platforming segments (due to horrible camera), "running towards the screen" segments, & extremely difficulty

Not to mention the lack of saving.

6 Soul Reaver - Boring combat, broken camera, frustrating platforming segments, & confusing map and mission layouts
7 Devil May Cry - Bad limited camera and horrible platforming segments
8 Brothers in Arms road - Over dramatic cut scenes and dialogue, and repetitive "flanking" game play
9 God of War - Too much emphasis on box pushing puzzles (with enemies there to frustrate you), time puzzles where you need to do something fast, and horrible annoying balance beam segments
10 Metal Gear Solid 4 - Great game still but too much cut-scenes (AT LEAST 60% CUT-SCENES), too short (if you skip all the cut-scenes), and choppy frame rate

Still a great game with great moments (Snake vs Ocelot, Ocelot controls the system, Return to Shadow Moses (man tears)), but the cut scenes are just way too long (the ending and the in-between mission briefings in particular)

Fun Fact: There's actually a 25 minute cutscene in the game.
