The Contenders: Page 3

41 Bulls on Parade - Rage Against the Machine

One of the best riffs of the 90's. Tom Morello absolutely innovated the solo scene with his killswitch scratching solo.

A brilliant song centered around iconic and eargasming riffs. Insightful and aggressive lyrical content involving well constructed metaphors about war and politics make this a must listen. Come to think of it, this song is more of a storm than a song. A storm of consistent and experience enhancing bass, powerful drums, and fantastastic guitar (especially the solo)

42 Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots

I loved this song when it first came out and it still makes me smile to this day. Although I love Bon Jovi this has got to be better than "Keep the Faith" right?

43 Live and Let Die - Guns N' Roses
44 Wonderwall - Oasis

Amazing. This song is from time when songs had depth and the lyrics had meaning behind them. Gone are those days, with artists like Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Katy Perry poisoning the airwaves.

this song is superb...it has a touch of nostalgia in the lyrics and blends way good with the music.i listened to this on a sunny day in the middle east...you know what ...i just forgot the blazin sun..rather i enjoyed it.

Favorite song of all time, I don't think I've ever skipped it when it's come on since it came out when I was in 5th grade

This song gets better as years go by. Way to low at 40

49 Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper - Dream Theater

Dream Theater was one of the best Rock bands of the 90's... This is a nice song... But try Funeral for a Friend or the Spirit Carries On... Both top ten quality.
