142 The Cars The Cars The Cars are an American rock band that emerged from the new wave scene in the late 1970s. The band originated in Boston, Massachusetts in 1976, with singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter Ric Ocasek, singer and bassist Benjamin Orr, lead guitarist Elliot Easton, keyboardist Greg Hawkes and drummer more.

I love the Cars. These guys have a unique style and many great hits. The Cars are so great and so underrated. It makes me sad that Benjamin Orr died. R.I.P. Benjamin Orr. You will be missed. Cars forever!

Are you kidding? By the end of the 70s they were one of the top bands in album sales and an arena icon! Incredible singers and musicians. What's not to love.

But at least they edged out The Partridge Family.

At the time the only band to ever have 4 consecutive triple platinum albums! How can they only rank 131st! Top 10 band for sure!

144 The Partridge Family
145 Supertramp

A great band, they deserve better than this

146 Blondie Blondie Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band was a pioneer in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-late 1970s.

Debbie, Chris and the gang were great and they were flexible doing a lot of genres. Not a lot of bands can make that claim.
