Only at 45?
Beautifully integrated into mission impossible 5's soundtrack
How is this not number 1 or at least in the top 5?
One of the highlights of the virtuoso repertoire. It is a treat to listen to and heavenly to play.
One of the most exhilarating pieces of music I have heard. The height of virtuoso piano.
Ridiculously god, the best
This is too low. O Fortuna is still used in pop culture to this day.

I've heard this master piece to much and I've won a musical competition with this piece on solo piano. But before you can understand Gershwin you have know who he was and to listen to some other of his orchestral pieces (like An American in Paris, Piano Concerto, Cuban Overture, Second Rhapsody, Girl Crazy overture, etc.) and his piano preludes. Some people say that American composers Aaron Copland (1900-1990) and Gershwin have the same music but that isn't true! But over Rhapsody in blue: It's a rhapsody like a piano concerto composed in 1924 and is in my opinion on number 15-20 in my top 40 Classical pieces and the best piece of George Gershwin. The famous version of these days is arranged by American Ferde Grofé and the original jazz band version is composed by Gershwin, the piano solo played by Gershwin (There is still an audio from his performance), and the piece is conducted by Paul Whiteman. The Gershwin audio is 10 minutes and the full version is 16-19 minutes and sometimes ...more
Honestly people haven't heard this thing enough! It's combination of classical music and jazz takes pride as it describes New York City beautifully, played out in the Disney movie Fantasia 2000 of course.
As a whole these pieces are some of the best music ever written. The quality, style, and uniqueness are unsurpassed.
This is amazing underrated. Just look it up!
Listen to Heifetz play the Chaconne. This is perhaps the most sorrowful piece I've ever heard, and just by composing this one piece, Bach has made his way to the top of my musical list. It's truly magnificent, the way the emotions can dig deep inside the hearts of listeners.
How is this so far down the piece? My favorite piece by my favorite composer...
Factually proven to be the hardest piece to play on the violin.
What's the principle of woman sexuality? Scientists can't say exactly, but listen to Bolero and you will know...
This is the definition of powerful! Heavy metal from the 20's!
