It's a shame Guns N' Roses is above this epic masterpiece. Best guitar riff ever.

Its not in classical 4/4 time signature. ITs actually in a 7/4 time signature which makes the riff so uniqe

Come on man its pink floyd. With such a werd time signature executed so brilliantly from gilmour to mason should be at least in the top 20s

73 Cliffs of Dover - Eric Johnson

Everyone loves Eric..he makes satriani and vies list..Van Halen as well, and many more including my rock and roll hall of fame dad.. He loves cliffs of dover. Most guitarists of the 60's listened to my dad's band and they still have the record for most albums and for first band inducted with no vocals... Walk, don't run.. And vote for Johnson. And by the way, Jerry says " The Ventures" should be on every list..They taught so, so many people how to play guitar by listening to their a hall of famer..they listened to The Ventures.

74 Paranoid Android - Radiohead

Why The Hell is this song all the way down here, it is one of the greatest riffs ever, just listen to the damn song. It is totally unrecognized to the mainstream world! It may not be the most consistent riff but when it comes in at 2:40, you know it is that awesome. Give this riff a chance, plus, the song is just pure genius and ranks with the genius of Bohemian Rhapsody, Stairway, A Day In The Life, etc.

The riff in the middle is absolutely astounding - kempokid

Better than all the riffs up at top10

kill nigs
