63 Ronald Laster
64 Steve Cropper Steve Cropper
65 John Mayer John Mayer

Just listen to him play Voodoo Child live at the Red Rocks Amphitheater or Gravity live in Los Angeles and your mind will be changed. As far as acoustics go listen to him play neon in any venue and tell me his playing isn't flawless. Easily the most overlooked guitarist of this generation.

Not saying he is one of the greatest of all time, or even one of the greatest living, but he IS the most overlooked guitarist of this generation. John can shred

Mayer is way, way, way underrated in this poll. Hard to believe that anyone can watch "Where the Light Is" and not be blown away. Acoustic or electric, masterful.

He's just plain awesome and not on everyone's radar as a contender.

66 Tony McManus
67 Don Felder

58? Wow!
An insanely low placement for his work on Hotel California, Heavy Metal and many more. Certainly doesn't belong below Billie Joe

68 Greg Howe

Greg-is fascinating to watch and hear! He may not be mainstream and that's why he is awesome. He toured with some giants, and kept true to his unique ability to play fast, beautiful, reckless--all while in complete controll of his instrument and why he doesn't even get mentioned this far down-is mind-bending...

69 Michael Schenker Michael Schenker

64 guitarists already and no one mentioned MS. A travesty, folks. Listen to his UFO stuff, then when he was with McCauley-Schenker. Listen/watch any video of "Rock Bottom", then tell me he doesn't belong in the top 5.

70 Phil Keaggy

What can you say about Phil. Like Robben Ford he is in a class by himself

As Mark Knopfler himself said. Probably the best slide player in the world. I agree

73 Hank Marvin
