Everything must start at the beginning, and for the Blue Jays it started in football weather, and I know I remember watching this game very well. It's amazing that this game didn't stop and 44,649 brave the weather to see this team beat the Chicago White Sox 9-5. Doug Ault, instantly became a Blue Jay legend by hitting 2 home runs as the Jays came from behind and who won the game. Another unknown Jerry Johnson won it and the save goes to Pete Vuckovich. The Blue Jays have arrived in Major League Baseball.
