Greatest NBA Coaches of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Gregg Popovich

Too young to have seen most of the old-time coaches, but I feel like popovich and doc rivers do more with less than any other coach.

2 Phil Jackson Philip Douglas Jackson is a former American professional basketball player, coach, and executive in the National Basketball Association.

I am so sad that he retired and that the Lakers didn't make it into the finals. I wanted him to finish with another title. :'(

A great coach. People say he's overrated because he had MJ, Pippen, Shaq, and Kobe to work with, but without Phil they could have done much less.

16 Doc Rivers
17 Jerry Sloan

RIP. One of the all time greats to never win a championship

18 Frank Layden

O'kay Frank is not the best NBA coach of all time, nor being the best utah Jazz coach of all time, But he was the most important coach in the history of The Utah Jazz. He got Karl Malone and John Stockton and then as an excutive hired Jerry Sloan as the team head coach. Frank, you deserved a standing ovation and no. 1 in all of the NBA.
Its Joeysworld

19 Bill Sharman
20 Scott Brooks

I added this because even though he's definitely not a top 10 coach, he deserves at least a little recognition as the 2010 Coach of the Year and a two time all-star game coach.

21 Tommy Heinsohn
22 Erik Spoelstra
23 Brad Stevens
24 Frank Vogel
25 Monty Williams
