Not the greatest person, but he made so many mathematical accomplishments BY HIMSELF. He did not receive ANY outside help like Einstein, Tesla, Newton, etc. He did EVERYTHING by himself, he rediscovered old theorems (remember he had no outside information that the theorems had been discovered) that took mathematicians hundreds of years to create. And he did so in the span of a few years solely by himself. It's such a shame that he died at 32, if he lived longer he would've been among the greatest mathematicians of all time.

Legend in maths. Media should take responsibility to inform people more about him. He made Indians proud by giving world class contribution to maths.
