21 Bob Hayes

The fastest human being to ever play the game of football, and most likely also the only one who could beat Usain Bolt occasionally.
His anchor leg in the 4X100 relay in the 1964 Olympics is the fastest any human has ever run under his own power on level ground, but relay legs do not count for records. Time for that last 100 was 8.7 seconds.

His post-football years were unfortunately not happy ones.
RIP "Bullet" Bob Hayes.
