Best Pianist and Rapper.
Linkin Park Rocks!
How the heck can Keith Godchaux not be in the top 10?
And how the hell is he lower than Brent Mydland? That's just criminal negligence there.
Okay, my favorite is John Paul Jones, but Steve Walsh is horribly underrated for his work with kansas as a singer and keyboardist. He barely places top fifty here and I'm not sure he's even on the singers list, but he's incredible at both of those positions, he's amazing.
With the Small Faces, the Faces, the Rolling Stones, he was always great or super
Crazy-talented keyboardist for the Cars!
Chicago was known for its horns but Rober mastered the key in a top notch way

Little Feat's extraordinary keyboardist and a top session musician for many years on rock albums of all sorts, including Bonnie Raitt and Bob Seger. His presence on Little Feat's Dixie Chicken as well as The Doobie Brothers' China Grove strongly influenced musicians for most of the '70s and '80s. He still plays with both bands as well as Leftover Salmon.
Axl Rose, and Eddie Van Halen above Billy Powell? Obviously fans, not musicians are making this list. Nobody played honky tonk piano like Billy. Nobody.
How is it that this great musician is #70. Give me a break. Billy was the best! R.I.P. my brother.V 2 Comments
Toto sure wasn't the same when Steve left--he was a hyperpowered master on the keys alongside Dave Paich
