63 Ray Gillen

Ray is one of the best voices in Rock! It's a shame he left us so early... But his voice lives on even after 20 years!

Great range and soul, plus a good lyricist and front man. Check out his band "Badlands." You haven't heard of him cause he and his band wouldn't cowtow to Atlantic Records, not cause he wasn't amazing. (Same for Richie Kotzen, another musician's musican. )

Anyone who has seen him live knows why he should be first on this list.

Inredibly powerful voice. Ridiculous range and variation and is able to perfectly convey the emotions of the songs he sings. Deserves to be far higher on this list and would be if Shinedown were better recognised.

From a technical point of view...not the best or highest trained...what he lacks in technical perfection is more than make up for in raw emotion. listen to him in his prime. songs like off of my cloud, satisfaction, tumbling dice and wild horses

69 Adam Gontier Adam Gontier Adam Wade Gontier is a Canadian musician and songwriter. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the former lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace.

I don't understand why my beloved Adam Gontier is at 74. He has such a dynamic, amazing voice, and if you listen to any of his songs, you'll agree that an artist like himself should be ranked higher.

He must be ranked higher. Yes, I know his live performace is not so great, but dude just listen to his songs, he's amazing. - Craym

Should be placed in the top 5, currently the lead for slipknot and stone sour. Amazing singer!

His voice is amazing I think he should atleas be somewhere around the top 20 because like he has a pretty good range for a guy, and he has so many different kinds of voices he can do. SLIPKNOT FOR LIFE!

He should be in the Top 5! If you have any doubt about it listen you never heared those songs : "through the Glas" or "tired" (both with stone sour), "snuff, "before I forget" or "Dead memories" (slipknot)!

Hear the voice, the range, the quality, and the scream... He should be up there.. Stryper was and is one of the best bands out there...

Those who actually know anything about singing would agree that he belongs.

Michael Sweet sounds just as good live as he does on record. That says a lot. I think he is the BEST vocalist for rock music.
