Top Ten Best Green Bay Packers Players of Week 1, 2021
If there's one positive from this game, it's that it could have been a lot worse if J.K. Scott was still around. Bojorquez looked great as a punter, and had some good punts.
Literally one of the only defensive players who wasn't a liability. We didn't hear Alexander's name for basically the entire game, and that's a good thing. He wasn't getting thrown at a lot.
Gary, while having no sacks, was pretty much the only edge rusher who was actually trying. He had at least some pressures, though he also had a few bad plays.
Crosby scored our only points of the game on a field goal, and it was a good-looking one too.
I will say, Davante did have a few nice plays, including a long reception from Aaron Rodgers. Was basically the only receiver who could get at least some separation.
It was a very uninspiring performance from our offensive line, but Jenkins at left tackle was the only player who really protected Rodgers and got the job done. Still, we really need David Bakhtiari back.
Dillon was our leader rusher in a game where the run game was non existent for us essentially. He only rushed for 19 yards, but they looked pretty good, and he fought his way through defenders.
Love came in during garbage time for his first career NFL regular season snaps. He had some nice looking throws, but also lost a fumble near the goal line. All in all, he was somehow better than Rodgers was in this game.
Stokes really needs to start getting more snaps over Kevin King. Stokes had our only defended pass of the game, and in his limited snaps, looked a lot better than King.
Hill didn't play much until garbage time. He didn't do much on kick returns, but had a few nice runs near the end.
