The Top Ten
1 Barney Greenway (Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror) Mark "Barney" Greenway is an English extreme metal vocalist, who has been a member of Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror, and Benediction.

One of the best death growls of all time, and I mean that sincerely. It is a very distinct "gruff" style. He has been in 14 Napalm Death albums since 1990, as well as an Extreme Noise Terror album. Barney also fronted death metal band Benediction

2 J.R. Hayes (Pig Destroyer)
3 Jeff Walker (Carcass, Brujeria) Jeffrey Walker is a bass guitarist and vocalist from Windle, St Helens, UK. He is best known for his work with death metal band Carcass for which he is also the main lyricist.

5 Nik Napalm (Napalm Death)

He only appeared in their debut LP, Scum, but he was influential enough to revolutionize extreme metal

6 Bill Steer (Carcass) Bill Steer is a British guitar player, and co-founder of the extreme metal band Carcass. He is considered a pioneer and an essential contributor to grindcore and death metal due to his involvement in Napalm Death and Carcass, two of the most important bands of those genres.

He had the deep, ominous, death growls which proved to be a great duo with Jeff Walker. He also played guitar in the first 2 Napalm Death albums

7 Katherine Katz (Agoraphobic Nosebleed)

Only appeared on one AG album, which happens to be my favorite (Agorapocalypse)

8 Oscar Garcia (Terrorizer)
9 Dean Jones (Extreme Noise Terror)
10 Lee Dorrian (Napalm Death)

Appeared on half of Scum and From Enslavement to Obliteration. He is well known now for his work with Cathedral
