Greatest Guitar Albums Between 2000-2009

I agree with EliHbk that guitars in these albums are "pretty mundane". The list title got my attention and I was excited to see albums with mindblowing guitar work. But the albums on the list disappointed me because these artists aren't known for extraordinary guitar performances. Truth is, if you wanna hear interesting and over the top guitar playing you should opt for metal albums and not punk, punk-ish, punk-based or garage rock. Punk(ish) guitar playing is pretty simple and ordinary. Also, mainstream rock bands don't offer guitar work that can be considered top-notch.

Actually a song on this album (Seven Nation Army) is known as one of the easiest guitar solos of all time. And Seven Nation Army is probably the most popular song on the album...

Its mostly a cover version of various music artists. He also put new materials in this album. He has done very good guitar performance in this album. If anyone thinks MAB only has speed but not emotion then try songs from this album.
