Top 10 Guitarists From Whose Playing Technique One Can Learn the Most
Should be on number one in my opinion. He plays from pop to metal, jazz to classical. He is the only guitarist in 60s I saw doing shredding and sweep picking. He was inspired from many guitarists. And adapted all of their techniques. Vibrato from Eric Clapton, Whammy Bar - Hendrix, Fingerpicking -Jeff Beck, Allman Brothers etc.
Really the most advanced player of 60s.
Ritchie is just the best.
Yngwie is a technical guitar player. But he plays the same licks over and over again. Thus it makes him a limited guitar player. He got his training from classical lessons. But his innovation didn't stand long. Even Ritchie Blackmore doesn't like his works.

"Ritchie Blackmore: What I Think About Yngwie Malmsteen | A Bit Creepy"
Ritchie on Yngwie,
"He's not Paganini"though he thinks he is. When Yngwie can break all of his strings but one, and play the same piece on one string, then I'll be impressed. In three or four years, we'll probably hear some good stuff from him"
That's why I crossed him. But he is one of my favorite shredders though.
