Best Guitarists Ever

The Contenders: Page 21

401 Brad Paisley

Brad Paisely seems to have been overlooked here perhaps because he sings as well but his first love is the guitar. He was given a guitar by his grandfather when he was young so that he would never be lonely and his grandfather taught him to play. It is true that Brad Paisley is a country music legend in the making but his amazing ability with the guitar should not be overlooked - he is quite simply put one of the best ever. On his most recent album "This Is Country Music" which is his ode to country music he has one song called Eastwood that is just Brad playing the guitar and Clint Eastwood whistling. His grandfather gave him quite and gift and Brad is very passionate about it.

Brad Paisley is the best! Just because he's a country guitarist doesn't mean that he's not awesome, because country music is the best style ever! Just watch a video on YouTube and you'll find out!

Most original guitarist since Hendrix. I have seen many of the greats in concert (Clapton, Beck, etc.). I have to say that Paisley was a cut above. Check him out if you get the chance.

607, are you serious, this man has more talent in his pinky than most of the next 500 or so guitarists ahead of him.

403 Benjamin Orr Benjamin Orr Benjamin Orzechowski, known as Benjamin Orr, was an American musician best known as a singer, bassist and co-founder of the rock band the Cars.

He was just as good at guitar as he was at singing. He was just amazing. That's all there is to it. RIP Benjamin Orr. We will miss you.

Benjamin could do it all and was modest about his talents! Miss you always and forever!

406 Mike Campbell

He is rated the 5th greatest by Rolling Stone for a reason. This guy can shred he's legendary. Before you vote look him up. I've seen him live too and he's real rock.

Oh and Chuck Berry should be number 1 he's the real king of rock and roll not some fat guy who, died on the toilet

Uh, yeah, this guy named tom petty formed a group called the heartbreakers, and mike campbell was the guitarist, and they made this song called runnin' down a dream, and there was this solo at the end that was amazing - pauler94

Mike Campbell is one the best guitar players ever. He knows how to serve the song, point all the attention to him. He is the king of tone and also a great songwriter. Very very humble but extremely underrated.

He's got it all; southern rock, progressive, mainstream, heavy, pop, etc. This guy is talented!

407 Ilan Ash Ashkenazi
408 Ian Dsa

Ian Dsa is my favorite guitarist of all time. He is in my favorite band. He has great style in the way he plays. You should really listen to his music its awesome!

As the lead guitarist of Billy Talent, this guy has created some of the sickest music the band has ever put out. My god, just listening to songs like Saint Veronika or This is How it Goes shows that he has a supernatural ability to play the guitar. He's honestly one of the best modern guitarists out there. - DaRealXgen

He should at least be in the top 3! This is just a same. He is so much better than most people think! He is way too underrated!

410 Tom Keifer

Couldn't believe he's not in the list. Just heard old an new concerts. He may had trouble with his voice, which forced him to have a break, but he's still a great guitarist and writer. - fhiesel

411 Sungmin Sungmin

He loves his guitar, he's so talented he must be the first in the pool and he's so good at guitar, you can melt in his voice too

He loves his guitar so much and he's so talented and good at guitars - JunRaemin

413 Michael Clifford

Wow, 843 he should be ranked higher.

He's such a Clunt

He is only 20 but he is so skilled. The solo in Kiss Me Kiss Me, She's kinda hot or Wrappped Around Your finger are incredible.

WHy tf is Michael Clifford so underrated. I am so angry right now!

414 Toru (One Ok Rock)
415 Johnny Rebel

He influenced the white power genre unlike anyone else. - Edgelord

416 Paul Gray Paul Gray Paul Dedrick Gray, also known as The Pig or by his number #2, was an American musician, best known as the bassist and one of the founding members of the Grammy Award-winning metal band Slipknot.

Paul gray is a bassist not guitarist - Disturbedpotato

417 Billy Duffy

Should be somewhere on this list. Listen to Anything of Love or Electric

If you watch and listen to Billy play you will be mesmerized by his brilliance.

What this guy does [just] on "The Phoenix" (live) should easily put him in the top 100, at least. Also, anything on the Cult's Love, Sonic Temple or Electric albums would quickly square things away. Finally, anything live that this guy plays would put many, many of these other guitarists to rest...
