Top 10 Hardest Enemies to Kill in Resident Evil 5

In Resident Evil 5, players often find themselves coming face-to-face with a range of formidable enemies, each bringing its unique set of challenges and barriers to survival. The world of this game is teeming with adversaries who can make your journey a living nightmare.
The Top Ten
1 Reapers

I agree that these are some of the hardest, but you just need the first to third handgun to win. You need to stock up on at least 60 shots (including a fully-loaded clip). Run and get some space. I shoot the left arm first, but that's just a preference of mine. Then I wait until it falls on the other arm before I shoot. Then I wait until the chest infection spore pops out of the armor, then spam my reloaded clip (I reload a lot, laugh out loud). If you miss a couple of shots (3 or more), it'll be weakened but get back up.

Giant cockroaches are a lot harder than I thought because they are a lot worse than a chainsaw zombie in Resident Evil 5! The best way to kill this pest is by trying to use mines or finishing it off with a Gatling gun if you unlock it!

2 Duvalia

Actually, these monsters that look like crab-like clams are Duvalias! If you're in a dying status and that Duvalia grabs you, then all that is left of you are your legs and bottom! You should either shoot the legs or tail of the Duvalia and then you could shoot the opening of the beast and it will be terminated!

This is actually the Majini that transforms into a big, clam-like monster with a huge mouth and a ribcage for a tail. It picks you up and eats you if you get too close to it.

You will die, no kidding. The only thing to kill them is by shooting their annoying tail.

3 Licker β

These guys are a pest because if they stick their tongue in you, it's game over.

Just one touch and we have no chance to escape.

4 Ndesu

This is the big troll thing (El Gigante RE4). Everybody claims that he is so tough to beat. He's actually not that difficult. Learn to stop the big flying boulder he throws at you and you should be fine.

This guy is pretty hard, laugh out loud. No healing, silly button pressing, computer AI is really bad (Sheva sucks). Managed to do it on my 4th attempt with co-op play, this guy is bad ass. Add turnerboythe2nd on PSN if you need help with this brute of a boss, easily the hardest guy in the game :-( Fat Maj guys are easy compared to troll guy on level 2.3 on pro.

5 Big Man Majini

This Majini takes the form of a fat, black man with no shirt on, and if he hits you, you're in trouble.

6 Albert Wesker

He can be easy, challenging, or downright insanely difficult to fight with, depending on how you approach the fight. You'll battle Albert 4 times in the entire campaign: first in the Monarch room, then in the Missile facility, third inside the assault stealth bomber (QTE) style, and finally in the volcano, which is also the hardest.

Word of advice, make sure you have plenty of ammo, particularly a magnum and an RPG, also be good in QTE. There'll be plenty of them. Good luck!

This guy is a badass. He's really not that bad, as long as you have an infinite rocket launcher. Otherwise, you'll be stuck all night.

7 Gatling Gun Majini

These guys carry ginormous Gatling guns on their backs and on professional one hit puts you into dying mode and another ceases your existence.

8 Jill Valentine (under control)

It's pretty much a frustrating fight, especially on harder difficulties (veteran & pro) as Jill can deal massive damage on you or your AI partner, sometimes even leave you in dying status.

Word of advice, try to stay away from her then approach stealthily from behind to restrain her. Be attentive to QTEs as you'll be spending most of the time doing them. Make sure to stock up on health items just in case. Also, don't use a magnum or shotgun when shooting her chest device as it can kill her, resulting in a game over. Handguns and rifles are safer and much better. Patience is your best weapon here.

9 Uroboros Aheri

Don't get caught in its path, or it's curtains for you. The best way to deal with it is to hide whenever you hear it coming and try to locate its handler and eliminate him to get rid of this weapon.

These are in chapter 4-2, and for some reason, I had a really rough time getting past these things. I finally just got my friend to blow them up with a rocket launcher.

10 Ricardo Irving

Long and grueling battle, be prepared for it. Be patient and shoot him with either the mounted guns or rocket launchers on the boat, or just use your ammo. However you deal with him, be wary of his tentacles or where he may pop out and watch out for QTEs as well, and make him come out of the monster's mouth to deal real damage on him. If you have an RPG, unload one on him to finish the fight.

He can be a real pain in the ass. Make sure you have the infinite rocket launcher, and he's not that bad. No infinite rocket launcher equals no beating Irving.

The Contenders
11 Chainsaw Majini

This guy is so hard to kill! He is fast, and he can behead me when he is close. The best way to kill him is with a magnum or an RPG. Land mines also help.

It is the longest thing to kill when you only have a shotgun.

12 Excella Gionne

The only way to destroy it is with the target locator. The object keeps moving before you get a chance to lock on to its weak points. Its instant kill is also really annoying.

It took longer to beat her than it did weaker opponents like Jill. She was tough.
