Hardest Songs to Play On DrumsSchwanie2
The Contenders: Page 3
This is definitely one of the most challenging songs I have come across. I'm not really a fast drummer (at least not as fast as most rock drummers) and it's the same beat the whole time. The fast bass pattern in it definitely kicks my ass. It's still pretty fun to jam to though.V 1 Comment
This song should have been ranked at least 25 - 30.V 1 Comment
its nine inch nails this song is so hard tht trent reznor doesn't even play it live
I can play a lot of songs listed above in the top 10. Cannot play this.
Neil really starts kicking it at the 40s mark. His bell cymbal technique rocks - his fills just as impressive.
That intro...wow. When you thought you heard everything...Neil comes along. Powerful, transcendental and innovative
I don't know how they can play their songs. I don't play drums but I play guitar and the power they put in their songs is unbelievable. After playing only four of their songs I feel my fingers burning and red.
This song is just ridiculously long, not necessary the most technical difficult one but the length is just ridiculous.
I'm not talking about psychosocial because there are harder songs of joey, but he is the best drummer! He is very fast and he has an excellent technique... And where is Dave Lombardo on the list?
Very hard, But Gematria And All Hope Is Gone Should Be Here, Both are very hard songs...
Joey Jordison gets WAAY too much hate. Just because some people don't like Slipknot doesn't mean Joey is a bad drummer! Check out Disasterpiece, People = S#! T, Sulfur, Vendetta and Eyeless. All very good with fast double bass and tricky fills galore. As for Psychosocial, it's really not that hard. But still fun and great fills.
Slipknot has harder songs, like disasterpiece, people = s***, and eyeless, but still, this has amazing fills and has a fun intensity to it, joey jordison is an amazing drummerV 1 Comment
One of the most aggressive Linkin Park songs and one of my favorite from Living Things. Rob Bourdon did good job on drums
This is not hard
Can't agree on this one. It is difficult for the beginner, but once you have the opening down which just repeats itself, there is little left. Know how to play single stroke rolls with accents and you have it aced! CheersV 1 Comment
I feel like composure deserves to be way higher up on the list... Pretty challenging dudesV 2 Comments
Stamina is the key for this one! 16-notes throughout the entire song minus the intro! Tiring as riding a unicycle up Mount Everest!
This song is normal challenged, and it's really fun play, but not the hardest.
Technically not really terribly difficult, but amazing song to hear how good drums can make a song sound great!
This is the hardest song on this list.
Wut? This song should be in top 10, instead of Pull Me Under, this song is way harder. And damn that intro is sick!
This is very hard to play, specially the last minutes, it would take a lot of practice and listen carefully several times to finally understand what Carey did in that song. Just Amazing.
This is NOT the hardest Tool song. The hardest part is the "let go" measures and the last 30 seconds. The polymeter in Eulogy, alone makes it harder than 90% of all drum songs. But believe me, coming from someone who specializes in Danny Carey covers, The Grudge is one of the easier ones as it were.
Ending is just just... Unbelievable it is impossible to believe a human did this!V 1 Comment
