Most Hated Harry Potter Characters

Quite probably the most irredeemable character in the whole shebang. We can even find some reasoning for the likes of Bellatrix who ended up completely bonkers and Voldie; given his upbringing and Dumbledore's manipulations but Umbridge is the ultimate cockroach who will serve any master in order to further herself and to indulge her bigotry and sadism

The way she treats Harry through out Order of the Phoenix, is just despicable. I hate Dolores more than Voldemort. I'm giving tops to the actress becuase she made some one who is supposed to be hated, become utterly despised. Give the actress a golden globe.

Wow, is this even a question? I I had a choice to hex her or Voldemort, I would hex her. She is the absolute WORST! And, for those of you who haven't read the books, she is even worse in them than she is in the movie.

How is he hated? He is the most humble guy in the series!

Why is Dumbledore at number 2?! He is awesome!

He favourited Harry but altogether he was a nice person yall are insane.

He was a decent character at the beginning but he slowly declined for me. I don't hate him but I don't particularly like him either. He's just..blah to me..

Harry's awesome he killed Voldemort the man responsible for his parents death he had to live with the Dursleys for 10 years Vernon and Petunia were Abusive and Dudley was a misguided bully it's a miracle that Harry was not affected by the abuse he had to go through he was still a nice good hearted person in the 3rd Book Remus and Sirius were going to kill Wormtail because Wormtail betrayed Lily and James but Harry didn't let them because he didn't want his father's two best friends to be murderers and that's not what his father would have wanted Wormtail escaped but that was one of the most noble things he could have done he was friends with Luna and Neville despite them being unpopular he didn't care he made his own patrounus charm at the age of 13 and a patrounus is very advanced he is a talented Wizard he was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team when he was only 11 and in his 1st year 1st years were not even allowed to be on the Quidditch team he was in the goblet of fire when he was 14 and he was not old enough to compete people he loved and cared about died Cedric Sirius Remus Tonks Fred mad eye Dumbledore Dobby Snape Hedwig Lily and James he had to go through a lot of grief and he still saved the day the hero of the story defeated the evilest sorcerer ever

Very into his own doing and very determined to kill people even if it kills him

I hate him but not as much as professor umbridge

As Harry stepped forward, whispers suddenly broke out like little hissing fires all over the hall

He hardly noticed that he was getting the loudest cheer yet. Percy the Prefect got up and shook his hand vigorously, while the Weasley twins yelled, "We got Potter! We got Potter!
Starting school

"Next to the tall kid with the red hair"

Whispers followed Harry from the moment he left his dormitory next day. People queuing outside classrooms stood on tiptoe to get a look at him, or doubled back to pass him in the corridors, staring. Harry wished they wouldn't because he was trying to concentrate on finding his way to classes.
Before Harry knew anything
A tiny man in a violet top hat had bowed to him once while out shopping with Aunt Petunia and Dudley.
A wild-looking old woman dressed all in green had waved merrily at him once on a bus
A bald man in a very long purple coat had actually shaken his hand in the street and then walked away without another word.

She was in the movies?

He is the worst, because unlike many others, he didn't have a reason to be cruel. He was a privileged person, who had everything, yet he decided to ruin peoples lives just for fun. He has no excuse. He is simply evil.

When you don't even know much about him?
When the memories we see about him come from the enemy.
Lily wouldn't have married him if he was still the same as when he was younger.

With him it's all Lockhart this and Lockhart that, and then you find out all he did was take other people's credit? It was a very satisfying moment when his memory charm backfired.

He is always making himself look important and taking credit for other people's work. He is very much into self-preservation.

Lol, this character is so dumb, he's actually funny.

He abused Lily, and all of his students.

I HATE him! He is just so annoying! What did Harry ever do to him to make him hate Harry?

Hermione is wonderful, why would people hate her.

He chose his job over his Family!
Even though he chose them finally in the last movie m, I'm still very disappointed in him

Pansy is really annoying she makes fun of other people for no reason she nothing but a bully and everyone knows it in the 1st book she made fun of Parvati for defending Neville in the 4th book she laughs at Hermione when Draco curses her buckteeth what has Hermione ever done to her she mocks her about Rita Skeeter's lies in the 5th book she was made a prefect and used her position to bully people who does that and in the 7th book when Voldemort tries to get the students to turn in Harry she has no problem with turning Harry in to Voldemort Voldemort already wants to kill Harry and by turning him in it would be easy that's why I don't like her

He makes up awful lies about Harry and Dumbledore because he is too scared of losing his job. Talk about a coward.
