Most Hated Songs of the 21st Century

The Contenders: Page 3

41 I'm a Gummy Bear - Gummibar

I hated this song so much when I was younger, and I still hate it to this day. - NiktheWiz

Screw this 7 year old trash - EliHbk

42 Lollipop - Lil Wayne

Maybe it's just cultural differences... but before I came to this website, anywhere else Lil Wayne became massive praise. Like, being the best of his generation, and he was extremely acclaimed for his word play and his genre-bending. - Martin_Canine

43 I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry

Why are we supposed to care if you kissed some random girl? - NiktheWiz

" - Katy Perry" I knew it! - EliHbk

44 Whistle - Flo Rida
45 Lips of an Angel - Hinder

What this is their best song this shouldn't even be on this list - rowdybusch18champion

Disgrace to post-grunge. - 445956

46 Dooo It! - Miley Cyrus

The music video has to be the most horrendous thing I have ever witnessed.

47 Fack - Eminem

AlphaQ made it sound pretty bad, I haven't heard it though (as I don't prefer Eminem) - EliHbk

48 Work from Home - Fifth Harmony

Rip-off of Rihanna's "Work", which is already terrible, but surprisingly is more tolerable than this. - Catacorn

An utter slap in the face to those who have to work hard. - NiktheWiz

49 Closer - The Chainsmokers
50 I Play Pokemon Go Everyday - Dj Remix Fellow
51 Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood
52 Thrift Shop - Kidz Bop

It's not their worst cover (Starving is tough to beat), but this is easily their most hated, and for good reasons. - NiktheWiz

53 As Long as You Love Me - Justin Bieber

This is actually one of Justin Bieber's best songs, mostly because of Big Sean - venomouskillingmachine

Not bad.One of Justin Bieber's better song. - Tia-Harribel

54 In the End - Black Veil Brides

This is like their best song too, pick on Blood on the Dance Floor, they actually suck - EliHbk

55 Sexting - Blood on the Dance Floor

How is a DORA song above this gross atrocity? - VideoGamefan5

Anyone who likes this is disgusting, - VideoGamefan5

56 It's on Like Donkey Kong - Blood on the Dance Floor

Dahvie has a low point in rapping on this song, Jayy has his personal peak.
The album is one of their weakest and Dahvie's lines from this song have been quoted so often that many people fail to recognize Jayy delivered a good verse. He proudly shows off his homosexuality, in various ways and often graphic, but keeps the dominant and masculine hip hop attitude throughout the entire thing. He's just rapping about boys the way brag rappers talk about girls, and he does all that with a really nice flow. - Martin_Canine

57 Peacock - Katy Perry

The euphemism to this song is possibly the dumbest one ever. She literally reveals the innuendo after saying it. Hell, she didn't even wait 3 seconds before ruining any chance of subtlety. - NiktheWiz

A little story: in Gymnasium (that's not a gym, that's the Austrian equivalent to high school, you could say), we had to take a class of our choice for a year where we would be in a small group and constantly interact with the teacher and others. I chose Deepened English, which means that it's about English language media. And it was really much fun, mostly because it was a rather young teacher [mayne 30 or so] with awesome humor (at the end of each lesson he showed to us one chapter of R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet, which had everyone laughing of course), and we watched several documentaries, and then analyzed them (mostly in a rather light hearted fashion). The documentaries ranged from serious ones like "Jesus Camp" to - and now we come to Katy Perry - "Part of Me". I never really paid attention to her before that. But watching this film in our little group was so much fun. We saw her development away from a conservative family to a symbol of colorful individualism and tolerance ...more - Martin_Canine

58 Rack City - Tyga
59 #Selfie - The Chainsmokers
60 Trumpet Lights - Chris Brown
