Top 10 Most Hated Songs by Metal BandsMetal_Treasure I didn't say "Most Hated Metal Songs" because some of the songs aren't metal songs but are songs by metal bands, or bands considered metal, although there are debates whether some bands are metal or not.
On this list there are 3 types of songs:
1) songs that deserve the hate
2) songs that partly deserve the hate
3) songs that don't deserve the hate they get.
The Top Ten
I don't consider this song as Metal. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345
Poison are a rock band, not metal. At all. Also, the song is good. - truckturner
Its from Poison and people hate it for a reason - christangrant
Poison is the greatest band of all time. - thomwim
Hated for a reason... It's even more painful and disappointing because it comes from Slayer. - Metal_Treasure
Did this really come from Iron Maiden... - Metal_Treasure
The title of this list initially confused me. I thought it meant songs that were hated by the metal bands themselves. As in the bands hated them. But then I got my brain in gear.
And this song still blows. First three minutes are alright, but I don't need to be told 50+ times that Blaze Bayley can save my life. - IronSabbathPriest
Don't you think I'm a saviour
Don't you think I could save you
Don't you think I could save Your life
just repeat these lyrics 1000x and you have about 50% of the song - christangrant
It's at #1 on the list Worst Metal Songs.
This is a tricky one.
It's hated mostly by people who hate death metal - by the way, I understand people who can't accept death metal and its growls and brutality.
But as a death metal song, it's not bad. However, it isn't the best death metal song of all time. It's not even among my most favorite death metal songs because I think the riff sounds pretty similar to Slayer's Raining Blood.
It's not a bad death metal song but it's overrated. I think it became popular for the controversy.
Verdict: it partly deserves the hate - Metal_Treasure
I would say it's hated for a reason. On top of it, they kinda ripped off Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People. Why the great Morbid Angel did this to the metal fans? - Metal_Treasure
It deserves the hate, yeah. - Metal_Treasure
Hated because it's a country song by... Metallica.
But as a country song, I think it's very good. My favorite country song, hehe.
I would say it only partly deserves the hate. - Metal_Treasure
Hated for the lyrics - christangrant
Hated because it's a cover that ruins one of the greatest songs ever - christangrant
I hate this mainly for the awful screamo esc vocals from M. Shadows in this track - christangrant
It's at #7 on the list Worst Metal Songs.
What do you think about this song? - Metal_Treasure
Yep. The one Metallica album I refuse to own, because what I've heard of it (including this artless, amateur-sounding song) sucks. Lars sounds like he's banging on paint cans. - truckturner
Can't listen to this song all the way through. Repetitive both musically and lyrically. On top of that the music is boring, I honestly find Invisible Kid to be more fun to listen to. - IronSabbathPriest
It doesn't deserve the hate if you ask me - christangrant
Aka Pears Don't Fall, LOL - Metal_Treasure
I really don't get the hate for this, I rather like it. - truckturner
