Underrated but amazing death metal band - Gamarax537

142 Revenge
143 Attack Attack!

Not THE BEST band you'll ever hear, but they can be heavy at times. The thing I like about them the most is that they stay faithful to Jesus. Awesome band.

144 Antestor

This list is absolutely appalling. The fact that Metallica somehow holds the number one spot is somewhat disheartening. How Cannibal Corpse is lower then Avenged Sevenfold is confusing. Don't let the fact that Antestor is Christian detract from their heaviness. They are one solid band.

Nickel back annihilates my skull and makes my ears bleed with their incredible melodic heaviness

This list is ridiculous. Look I like Metallica and a7x but antestor are WAY heavier. They're black metal for Pete's sake I mean come on. And why is nickel back on this list? They aren't even metal!

The Defeat Of Satan yes, but later albums were not heavy. - GREYBOYY

145 Abiotic

Is heavier than the top 15 at least

Listen to Majesty and Decay and you'll see what I mean.

152 Autopsy Autopsy Autopsy is a death metal band, founded in 1987 in the United States by Chris Reifert and Eric Cutler. They disbanded in 1995, but reunited in 2009.

Most metal bands do not compare to these guys great music and there dark lyrics. Most of the people on this list aren't even metal bands like Nickleback who sings rock music not metal.

153 Dismember Dismember
154 The Dillinger Escape Plan The Dillinger Escape Plan The Dillinger Escape Plan is an American mathcore band from Morris Plains, New Jersey. The group originated in 1997 after the disbanding of Arcane, a hardcore punk trio consisting of Ben Weinman, Dimitri Minakakis, and Chris Pennie.

Heaviest stuff I have heard.

156 Hatebreed Hatebreed Hatebreed is an American metalcore band from Connecticut, formed in 1994. They have released 7 studio albums to date, most recently The Concrete Confessional on May 13, 2016. Their musical style blends influences from hardcore punk and heavy metal; a prominent band within the hardcore scene, they have more.

Hatebreed are the heavy kings of victory records.

Agreed. 120 is a joke

157 Nine Inch Nails Nine Inch Nails Nine Inch Nails is an American industrial rock/metal band and, founded in 1988 by Trent Reznor in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nine Inch Nails? The heaviest? Listen to Strapping Young Lad. Those guys make NIN sound as if they were One Direction!

Nine Inch Nails don't even belong in the Top 300 in regards to heaviest bands ever

Want proof? Listen to March of the Pigs or Mr. Self Destruct.

158 In Flames In Flames
159 Kahtmayan
160 Morbid Saint Morbid Saint

When it comes to Thrash most people only think of the big 4 when in fact Thrash can be just as heavy as Death Metal. This band gives of a demonic atmosphere that not many bands can replicate.

Amazingly heavy vocals. Their one album "Spectrum of Death" makes you feel like you are being pulled into hell. They should be #1 but most of you probably don't know them.
