Ten Heavy Metal Collaborations That Would Be Interesting to Hear
I'm pretty sure a lot of heavy metal fans like myself would want it to happen where one band they like comes together with another band they like to create something that would most likely be interesting to hear. If you can think of a collaboration between two bands that hasn't already happened that you would be interested to hear, add it. See what collaborations other people may be able to think of.Two of Sweden's finest bands coming together. Just imagine it.
These two are my personal favorite modern metal bands, and I feel that if they collaborated, it would be pretty good.
The Crusade by Trivium sounded very Metallica-esque. Imagine if the two bands met in the studio.
I could picture this happening. Trivium makes music that I'm almost positive is influential to Babymetal's instrumental work. Just imagine three adorable Japanese teen girls singing and dancing to an awesome Trivium song. I'd also like for something like this to happen because it would absolutely piss off all elitist metalheads.
I could only imagine something like this happening. A veteran death metal band collaborating with a deathcore band. That would definitely stir up some attention, seeing that deathcore is relatively despised by hardcore death metal elitists.
This would be pretty epic. Avenged Sevenfold has already managed a solid Maiden cover. Imagine a collaboration.
I could honestly never picture this actually happening, given that Nergal is pretty critical of today's music scene, but in the event that it did happen, I would just love to hear the reactions of Behemoth fans.
If Dio were only still alive, I'd love to hear him collaborate with virtually any band in today's metal world.
This happened. Listen to the song by Korn "A Different World". It features Corey Taylor in it.
It just happened during the tour in London.
It would be awesome to hear a collaboration with Bruce Dickinson and Su-Metal!
It would be awesome to see a collaboration with Bruce Dickinson and Su-Metal
To of the most legendary metal acts coming together to create something. If only.
Matt Heafy has a wide range of musical taste (one reason why I could picture a Trivium x Babymetal collaboration), but he's said in interviews that he grew up as primarily a black metal fan. That leaves me to wonder what it might be like if one of the pioneering black metal bands like Emperor collaborated with Trivium.
Jeff Walker and Bill Steer (apart from having their picture taken with the three girls) said in a recent interview that they like the whole concept behind Babymetal. Given that, imagine a collaboration between a rising force in the metal community and a veteran grindcore/melodic death metal band.
Tow of the greats in heavy metal (and both frontmen of Black Sabbath at some point). If only it could have happened.
Christopher Amott (former guitarist of Arch Enemy) actually worked on one of their songs, and they took a photo with Michael Amott (lead guitarist and Christopher's brother). Picture the whole band working on a song with Babymetal.
Simone Simons usually appears as a guest vocalist on Kamelot's albums. She is in fact married to Kamelot's keyboardist.
