1 Jose Borromeo Legaspi Memorial National High School

A public secondary school located at Barangay Aranas, Balete, Aklan, recognized and supported by the Department of Education of the Republic of the Philippines.

Starting as a barangay high school in 1981, it has now become a duly institutionalized National High School offering Grades 7 to 12 to residents of barangay Aranas and the neighboring barangays of Cortes, Guanko, Oquendo, Morales, Arcangel and Poblacion in the town of Balete and barangay Lalab in the town of Batan.

Now on its 34th year, JBLMNHS continues to grow to better provide quality education for the youth of its surrounding communities.
