48 Ghost Stories
Here's the story. This anime was originally released in Japan as a serious show about kids hunting down and exorcising ghosts. It did so poorly in Japan that they gave the English dubbing company free reign to do whatever they liked with the script. They ended up replacing 90% of the original script and lowed the voice actors to ad-lib. What resulted was South Park levels of crude humor. Shame not many people have heard of it though. But if you can watch it (although you can skip the first episodes, they aren't as funny).
