I live in Ridgewood Queens but I am all ways in Bushwick. Yes Bushwick is now hipster. After 2006 Bushwick started becoming hipster. Before that it was a lot more dangerous with the mafia in the 60s and 70s and from the 70s on is Puerto Rican gangs. Now it's a mixture of all different Latino gangs and no mafia presence.
