Top Ten Historical Figures They Should Make a Movie or Remake About

These Historical Figures are legendary and deserve their story to be told time and time again. Whether it is a story from that main a characters point of view or from an outsider. With the success of movies like Darkest Hour, Vice, Braveheart, Agora, Lincoln, and 300 you could have a lot of potential making movies like this. The one thing is movies like these do cost a lot of money, but it is worth it in the end. And one extra note I am excluding Jesus from this list, because their are about 50 million movies about him.
The Top Ten
1 Julius Caesar Gaius Julius Caesar, known by his cognomen Julius Caesar, was a Roman politician and military general who played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire.

The last good Julius Caesar movie was the Shakespearean remake in the 1970s. Their was a T.V. show called Rome that was about Juilus Caesar and it wasn't half bad. It's just they could've done better. I'm telling you in today's world a Caesar movie would do great. People need to know about Julius Caesar.

2 Alexander the Great Alexander III of Macedon, commonly known as Alexander the Great, was a King of the Ancient Greek kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty.

The only Alexander the Great movie I have ever seen was a 5 hour long boring sleepfest. We need a movie about Alexander the Great he had such an interesting life. He was a great leader, but he was so conceded he didn't pick an heir could be one storyline. Plus they could have tons of action scenes.

3 Genghis Khan Genghis Khan c. 1162 – August 18 1227, born Temüjin, was the founder and Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death.

It would be interesting to see Hollywood's spin on history's biggest-ever mass killer. Although Mao Zedong killed more people by raw numbers, Genghis killed a larger percentage of the world's population than anyone ever.

Another person I've never really seen a movie about. He conquered most of the known world in his time. It would be interesting to see what they could do with a movie about his rise and him unifying Mongolia.

4 Joan of Arc Joan of Arc, nicknamed "The Maid of Orléans", is considered a heroine of France for her role during the Lancastrian phase of the Hundred Years' War, and was canonized as a Roman Catholic saint. St. Michael the Arch Angel and Sts. Catherine of Alexandria and Margaret of Antioch appeared to Joan and commanded her to save France from the onslaughts of the English.

I've seen one movie about Joan or Arc and it wasn't too good. As long as they don't push any of that feminist agenda down our throats then yeah they could make a good movie about her.

How about the Simpsons? T'was easier to chew than that Bambi video.

5 Attila the Hun Attila, frequently called Attila the Hun, was the ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in March 453.

This movie would probably be very similar to the Genghis Khan movie. Like that Genghis I have never seen a movie about Attila. I could be about his raids of the Roman Empire and his eventual death.

6 Franklin Delano Roosevelt Franklin Delano Roosevelt, commonly known as FDR, was an American statesman and political leader who served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. A Democrat, he won a record four presidential elections and dominated his party for many years as a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century, leading the United States during a time of worldwide economic depression and total war.

I think since they did a movie about Winston Churchill they should do another one about FDR. It could be very unique and it could tell a great story about a great man.

7 George Washington George Washington (February 22, 1732– December 14, 1799) was an American military officer, statesman, and Founding Father who served as the first president of the United States from 1789 to 1797. Appointed by the Continental Congress as commander of the Continental Army, Washington led the Patriot forces to victory in the American Revolutionary War and served as the president of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, which created the Constitution of the United States and the American federal government. Washington has been called the "Father of the Nation" for his manifold leadership in the formative days of the country.

A movie about our first president would be great. They could make one about the war and emotional turmoil about being challenged and defeated on every corner. Or you could make one about him guiding a new nation.

8 Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson was an American Founding Father who was principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and served as the 3rd President of the United States from 1801-1809. He was born on April 13, 1743, and died on July 4, 1826, on the same day 2nd United States President John Adams died.

It could finally teach people about the true Thomas Jefferson and the good things he did. They could do a movie about the political side of him or the philosopher side of him.

9 Benjamin Franklin Benjamin Franklin (January 6, 1706 – April 17, 1790) was an American polymath who was active as a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher, and political philosopher. Among the leading intellectuals of his time, Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, a drafter and signer of the United States Declaration of Independence, and the first United States Postmaster General.

I feel like they could really make a comedy out of Benjamin Franklin. He was actually a very funny man and he was very sarcastic.

10 Napoleon Bonaparte Napoléon Bonaparte was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars.

Their already is a pretty good movie about Napoleon called Waterloo, but that is really just about the end of his life. They need another about his rise and reign.
