Canada is one of the countries where a lot of people play hockey in their youth. It is one of the fastest games, exciting to watch and even better to play. The sport has a high degree of difficulty, yet it is fun at all levels if expectations are kept reasonable. Canada is the number one hockey nation in the world, but many countries in Europe, and Russia and the United States win world championships in the sport. Canada is the number one hockey nation in the world because more people love hockey there, have played the game and know and follow the game. The skates, the ice, shooting and passing the puck, the lights, the action, fantastic!

Canada has better NHL players. We kicked their asses 7 years ago. But than stupid Americans will say Duhh because we let you duhh. WE KICKED YOUR ASSES FAIR AND SQUARE! Finland is definitely the most Ice Hockey loving nation right after Canada. The percentage of people playing/following ice hockey is second only to Canada. Both times Finland has won gold in iihf wc, people have taken to the streets and partied long in to the night. For example the last time Sweden won, there was less Swedish people partying At Sergel's Torg, than there were Finns partying after Finland had won. :) The Czechs might be pretty strong contenders to Finland, when it comes to loving Ice Hockey
