During this season, something was different than those 5 previous years, his Canadiens did not win the Stanley Cup, but his production we're much improve than in the previous season. He scored 35 goals, 14 more than last year and played in the NHL All-Star Game, that year he led the team of All-Stars to beat the eventual Stanley Cup Chicago Balck Hawks 3-1 at the Black Hawks' home in legendary Chicago Stadium.
