This is basically German's version of "Watership Down", but this time more darker and it's about cats. Lots and lots of disturbing imagery and dying cats.

7 Coraline

It's actually called "Coraline" but yeah, I agree that this movie has disturbing and creepy moments. The other world eventually turns out horrifying with the button eyed characters, especially Coraline's other mother. Good movie but this is definitely one of the most disturbing kids movies of all time.

Just the scene during Pleasure Island when all the boys transform into Donkey's and sold off to slave labor as well as seeing Lampwick's transformation into a donkey is enough to give children nightmares.
