He's just so cute!
He's Scottish! That accent, and that hair! He had such a neat appearance physically, and he was more sort of a mad scientist in this 12th incarnation. He was the best dressed (when he first appeared), and he carried on with a lot of the body language that we saw with David Tennant and Matt Smith. His eyes were beautiful and mysterious, and his over-all presence really made you feel a link to the previous incarnations, but also with a lot of excitement for the future. He played his incarnation so well, that it really felt like, in some ways, the experiences were new to him, on a physical level. This made his character have a greater purity, and with that, it helped explain his character overall, and gave him greater insight into other persons and situations.
He was (and still is) a stunning Scottsman with piercing, insightful eyes. He played the role with so much purity and insight, tying him perfectly to the past incarnations, setting us up with more excitement for the future.
