Top 10 Husbands in Cartoons and Animated Movies

For this list we will be counting down the top 10 cartoon husbands in both cartoon shows, animated movies as well as anime.
The Top Ten
1 Bob Belcher - Bob's Burgers

Complete opposite of how most cartoon husbands in adult cartoons are portrayed instead of being portrayed as an idiot husband Bob does make an effort to be a good husband towards Linda and takes up projects with her.

2 Bob Parr - The Incredibles Robert "Bob" Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible, is the protagonist of The Incredibles and is the deuteragonist of Incredibles 2. He is voiced by Craig T. Nelson.

Bob aka Mr. Incredible and Helen aka Elastigirl have a very strong relationship with one another though during the first movie their relationship gets rocky with Bob wanting to be Mr. Incredible again while Helen wants him to focus on the here and now and focus on his kids lives though as the movie goes on he does learns to be more appreciative of his family after he almost lost them when Syndrome fired missiles at their plane blowing it up and later tried to take on the Omnidroid by himself not wanting to risk losing them again.

3 Dexter's Dad - Dexter's Labatory

A very devoted husband and the episode that stands out as his love for his wife is the episode "Hamhocks and Armlocks" where the family end up at a truck stop and run into a very large guy names Earl whose an arm wrestling champion who tries to get Dad to arm wrestle him after Dad distracts him when he plays the jukebox causing Earl to lose but Dad refuses even after Earl wrecks the family car and its not until Earl rudely slams the door of the truck stop in front of Mom as she's trying to get back inside to get her purse which infuriates Dad so much that he finally agrees to accept Earl's challenge all to defend his wives honor and with help from Dexter he beats Earl.

The best, no doubt. The most dedicated and caring one.

4 Homer Simpson - The Simpsons Homer Jay Simpson is the main protagonist of the American animated television series The Simpsons as the patriarch of the eponymous family.

True Homer isn't always the bets husband as he's shown to be selfish, and reckless but at the same time he does show that he loves Marge and wiling to do the right thing in the end Homer loves and adores Marge so much that he refused to cheat on her with the likes of Mindy Simmons and Lurlene Lumpkin as Marge was his first and only true love there have been numerous episodes where Marge and Homer's relationship shines.

5 Carl Fredricksen - Up Carl Fredricksen is the protagonist of Disney-Pixar's 2009 animated feature film Up. He's a retired balloon salesman who, at the age of 78, is forced to leave the house he and his late wife Ellie built together. He was voiced by Ed Asner.

Carl and Ellie's relationship is perfectly summed up in the opening montage that shows their relationship through the highs and lows of their relationship as they age and even after Ellie dies Carl is determined to carry out her wish by taking their house to Paradise Falls.

6 Hank Hill - King of the Hill Hank Rutherford Hill is a fictional character and the main protagonist on the animated television series King of the Hill.

While Hank doesn't always show his love to Peggy but has defended her honor on a number of occasions and is always there to clean up a lot of the messes that Peggy gets into.

7 Fred Flintstone - The Flintstones Frederick "Fred" Flintstone, is the main character of the animated sitcom The Flintstones, which aired during prime-time on ABC during the original series' run from 1960 to 1966. Fred is the husband of Wilma Flintstone and father of Pebbles Flintstone.

Like Homer Fred isn't always a good husband to Wilma a lot of times getting involved in crazy schemes behind her back with Barney but at the end of the day Fred loves Wilma.

8 Shrek - Shrek Shrek is a fictional ogre and titular character of the Shrek franchise. He debuted in the 2001 animated movie of the same name. He is voiced by Mike Myers.

Shrek and Fiona end up falling for one another by the end of the first movie and get married with Fiona now an ogre fulltime their relationship hits a wall when Fiona's parents invite them to Far Far Away to give their blessing to them which goes as badly as Shrek expected which leads to an argument between Shrek and Fiona with her being angry at him for not making an attempt to get along with her father as Shrek points out that wither her parents like it or not he's an ogre but in an attempt to make Fiona happy Shrek steals a potion from Fairy Godmother that turns him and Fiona human and in order for the spell to be permeant he has to kiss her but it would also mean he would not be able to go back to being an ogre and yet he's still willing to go through with it for Fiona's though at the end of the movie Fiona wants what any princess wants to live happily ever after with the ogre she married choosing for them return to being ogres.

9 Randy Marsh - South Park Randy Marsh is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park. He is the son of Marvin and Grandma Marsh, the half-brother of Jimbo Kern, the husband of Sharon, and the father of Stan and Shelly. 10 Lynn Loud Sr. - The Loud House

While his parenting skills aren't always the best when it comes to his wife Rita the two have a very strong relationship with one another and their love for one another still continues to grow and continue to show their affection for one another in ways that their kids certainly are too young to know about just look at the skinny dipping incent from "Suite and Sour".
