Most Hyped NFL Teams for the 2018-2019 Season

All aboard the hype train! For some teams, 2018 will be about the same as 2017. But for some, they’ve rebuilt, and fans are excited to see what their new and improved team can do. Which are hyped the most? We’re looking at the most hyped NFL teams going into the 2018-2019 season.
The Top Ten
1 San Francisco 49ers The San Francisco 49ers are a professional American football team located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yeah, 49ers are definitely on the hype train. Well, for Jimmy G at least. Their new quarterback has received more hype than any other NFL quarterback during the offseason. Not to mention an improved offensive line. Their quarterback needs protection. Also, they've got all-pro Richard Sherman, and they get to anger Seahawks fans twice a year. A perfect setup for a playoff run. Unless the whole Jimmy G plan fails.

When your trade for Jimmy G turns out to be a steal there's bound to be some hype. Now let's see how Jimmy G does through a full season. Playoffs? Maybe

2 Los Angeles Rams The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Offensive mastermind Sean McVay made the likes of Jared Goff and Todd Gurley pro bowlers, and they went 11-5. Now just look at their free agency haul. They may very well have a top five defense in 2018. The Chargers aren't the only hyped team in Los Angeles.

This team made a bunch of moves in free agency. Time to see if those moves pay off or not. Maybe this team can make a playoff run

3 Los Angeles Chargers The Los Angeles Chargers are a professional American football team based in Los Angeles. The Chargers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's American Football Conference West division.

When you start 0-4 and end the 2017 season 9-7 and narrowly miss the playoffs, then there's bound to be hype. Philip Rivers is on the tail end of his career, but is still the best of the 2004 quarterback draft class. Not only do they have a talented quarterback, they have the 2017 comeback player of the year, Keenan Allen. A sturdy running back, Melvin Gordon, a defensive backs group headed by Casey Hayward, and a top five defensive line, with leaders Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram. This team is all set to make a playoff run, something they haven't done for years.

4 Houston Texans The Houston Texans are a professional American football team based in Houston, Texas. The team competes in the National Football League as a member club of the American Football Conference South division.

A healthy DeShaun Watson and J.J. Watt means trouble for opposing teams. On offense, they have a multi threat quarterback who can pass and scramble, and an underrated receiving corps headed by DeAndre Hopkins. On defense, they've got powerhouse J.J. Watt and a now healthy Jadeveon Clowney, along with Tyrann Mathieu replacing Andre Hal. It's no wonder why Texans fans are hyping this team so much.

Let's see if they can get back on track after an disappointing season filled with injuries. If they can could they see playoffs?

I think the Texans are a title contender with a healthy DeShaun Watson and JJ Watt.

5 Chicago Bears The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team in Chicago, Illinois. The Bears compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division.

Many Bears fans are undoubtedly wondering what new head coach Matt Nagy can do with their second year quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. I'm confident the former offensive coordinator can turn the tide for a Bears team that hasn't made the playoffs since the 2010-2011 season. Not to mention Jordan Howard, who was snubbed of the NFL top 100 players. It's also been a long time since Chicago had reliable receivers. Now they have Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, and Super Bowl champion tight end Trey Burton. Let's not forget their defense, which consists of rising stars Leonard Floyd and Eddie Jackson. People should be excited in the Windy City this year.

6 Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league's National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won 4 Super Bowls and 13 NFL championships.

With Aaron Rodgers back, most cheeseheads are beyond excited for 2018. They went all out at tight end during the offseason, signing Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis. At receiver, it's a bit thin for depth, but Davante Adams has proven to be a number one receiver, and Randall Cobb isn't that bad. Defensive line will most likely be a huge strength in 2018, with Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, and Muhammad Wilkerson heading it. While defensive backs are an issue, it could improve, and the hype is real in Green Bay for 2018.

7 Oakland Raiders The Las Vegas Raiders are a professional American football franchise based in Las Vegas. The Raiders began playing in 1960 as a member club of the American Football League; they have been a member club of the National Football League since the 1970 AFL–NFL merger. In 2020, the Raiders relocated from Oakland, California to Las Vegas.

Most are wondering if Jon Gruden really can revitalize this 6-10 team. They've given Derek Carr weapons in Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, and Martavius Bryant, and reliable running backs in Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin. But can Derek Carr stay healthy? And will Khalil Mack sit out of any games if he doesn't get a new contract. But I'd say other than those problems, there's a reason to be hyped for the 2018 Raiders.

8 Minnesota Vikings The Minnesota Vikings are an American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season.

2017 ended in a blowout loss, but Vikings fans aren't giving up. They got the crown jewel of the free agency in Kirk Cousins. Not to mention a great receiving corps, and a number one ranked defense. It's Super Bowl or bust in Minnesota in 2018, and anything less than that would be a disappointment.

9 New York Giants The New York Giants are a professional American football team located in the New York metropolitan area.

Most of this hype belongs to Saquon Barkley, and some people are already saying he's among the NFL's best. While that may be an exaggeration, I can see why people are excited. Odell is healthy again, their defense is looking better, and they've redone their offensive line. It's just, Eli Manning that doesn't fit. I think it may be time for another quarterback.

10 Cleveland Browns The Cleveland Browns are a professional American football team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Browns compete in the National Football League as a member team of the American Football Conference North division. The Cleveland Browns are one of the four teams to have never been to a Super Bowl, and one of two teams to go 0-16.

The word "hype" may be a bit strong for the Browns, but fans are still excited to see what will happen in 2018. They had a pretty good draft, and have a reliable veteran at quarterback. A good free agency also contributed to a better Browns team. Expect something from them in 2018, but not much.

They were hyped because of all the draft picks and talented young team

They got the best quarter back ever beat the most rushing yards.,
