Top 10 Most Iconic Songs of the 2010sWhich songs will be remembered from the 2010's? This list is not based on quality at all, but on decade defining hits.
The Top Ten
This song will stand the test of time in my opinion and will be remembered, it's a very iconic performance of the decade.
I used to dance to this. It still makes me dance when I hear it. lol
The biggest hit of the DECADE, so of course.
Adele is a very iconic artist from the decade, and one of her biggest hits is pretty iconic.
My childhood favorite!
One of the songs at the end of the decade is iconic, it defines the meme world and popular music.
Yay my 2,019th comment!
Anyway, yeah, 2019's biggest hit that won't die out probs for a while.
Got the horses in the back
19 weeks at #1 despacito and uptown funk can't say that
Definitely if anything I think this song might be more influential than the top 2 although I like them more the fact is it was not just getting artists who already released music in Spanish more views (which it did there are so many songs in Spanish with more than a billion now) it also lead to singers who primarily perform in English on Spanish tracks such as Little Mix, Demi Lovato Selena Gomez I think even Beyonce was on a remix of Mi Gente.
The latin trend and how it started in the USA. This song is very iconic and is the most watched video on YouTube.
Pacito pacito holy holy cito oh do bey gahndo eh do bah greedo
This song was everywhere and Adele is a very popular artist from the decade
Whilst I don't like it, it is pretty iconic.
This song kinda defines Taylor's career this decade.
Why isn't this higher? Songs like these, whilst they might be annoying, are definitely the most ICONIC songs, and how has someone not heard of this before?
Yeah after thinking about it a bit more that would not be so unreasonable it compares pretty well to Hello. By the way I actually think it is a pretty good song not a masterpiece but better than about half the songs ahead of it (not that this is a factor).
One of the most notable pop tracks of the decade.
It was a massive hit but it sounds so dated already I am not sure whether it will be remembered I guess you could say the same about California Gurls or Firework though.
I honestly have no idea how this song goes. I've never listened to it, but I have heard of the title.
I don't think you are missing much I wouldn't say it's a terrible song but it's pretty boring. You would probably think oh this song if you heard it though it was everywhere last year.
Drake topped charts a lot this decade, and if one song is remembered from him it's this one.
Agree this song was hugely important for later pop music it is not my favorite Lorde song or even close but it has affected lyrical themes, production and even singing styles in pop. It influenced not only newer artists but also some more established ones and besides being very influential on sound of pop music it has also received dozens of covers it is one of the most covered songs of the 2010's and received praise from many famous artists including older rock artists such as David Bowie.
Whoppa gangnam style
It is still one of the most viewed songs on YouTube and had a similar effect on K pop as Despacito had on Latin Pop
