Among the many we're the New York Mets, the infamous Seattle Pilots who in 1970 became the Milawukee Brewers, The New York Jets, The Boston Patriots, The Milwaukee Bucks, The Philadelphia Flyers, The Phoenix Suns, The Minnesota Vikings, The NEW Washington Senators who in 1972 became the Texas Rangers, the Oakland Raiders, The Kansas City Chiefs, The Kansas City Royals, The St. Louis Blues, the Montreal Expos, The Houston Astros, and so many more teams.

The decade was challenging, but today most of the following are still here. The NFL Championship Game which began in 1932 inside a hockey arena (Chicago Stadium). The first Masters golf tournament in 1934, and in 1933 the first MLB ALL-Star Game. 1939 saw the first Baseball Hall of Fame ceremonies and in that same year the first NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.

The decade was important because most athletes changed uniforms and put on different uniforms to fight in World War II. Also, April 15, 1947 was a day no baseball fan when a Negro man played in Major League Baseball and Jackie Robinson changed the face of Professional Sports forever.

The start of the 20th century give us the birth of the American League, the beginning of The Rose Bowl College Football's premier event, The birth of the World Series, Jack Johnson as boxing World champion, but the big story is President Theodore Roosevelt saving College Football by outlining new rules for the safety of the players.
