Most Interesting Central Asian Countries

Man did it take long for me to make another country list, I have no idea why. But here is another country list by me, this time the most interesting countries in the forgotten part of Asia: central asia. It's quite sad how almost no people no about the central asian countries, because they're so interesting! The only country here people ever talk about is Kazakstan, but with that being said, without further ado, let's start!
The Top Ten
1 Uzbekistan Uzbekistan is a landlocked country. It is one of two doubly landlocked countries in the world, a country completely surrounded by landlocked countries in Central Asia. Uzbekistan’s Muruntan gold mine is one of the largest open pit gold mines in the world. Elders are respected in Uzbek culture. At the dusterhon, younger guests will not make themselves more comfortable than their elders. The younger person should always greet the older first.

In my opinion the most interesting country in central asia. Uzbekistan has a very big history that's very interesting and the nature in Uzbekistan is quite interesting. Most of the country excluding the east parts are made of the kyzylkum desert and the east parts are more mountainy and the fourth biggest lake in the work was in the north west part (I'm saying were because it barely exists anymore and is just a desert now). definitely the most interesting central asian country. It's also the only central asian country that has a border to every central asian country

2 Kazakhstan Kazakhstan, officially known as the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a country in northern Central Asia, with a sliver of its territory west of the Ural River extending into Eastern Europe.

Well, it's the biggest country in central asia! Heck, it's almost as big as Argentina! Due to it, it's landscape varies very much. Most of the country is very plain, but there is the Kyzylkum desert to the south-west, mountains to the south-east and some forests in the north parts of the country

3 Tajikistan Tajikistan, officially the Republic of Tajikistan, is a mountainous, landlocked country in Central Asia with an estimated 8 million people in 2013, and an area of 143,100 km2 (55,300 sq mi) and an estimated population of 9,537,645 people. Its capital and largest city is Dushanbe. It is bordered by Afghanistan to the south, Uzbekistan to the west, Kyrgyzstan to the north and China to the east. The traditional homelands of the Tajik people include present-day Tajikistan as well as parts of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

The second most interesting central asian country is in my opinion the small but interesting Tajikistan. This was one of the first non-european countries that I wanted to study more about and I'm glad I did. It's a dangerous country but an interesting one! This country is almost only made up my beautiful mountains. It's sad that this beautiful country ruled by the ridicoulus Emomalii Rahmon who bans celebrating birthdays in public, like what the heck?

4 Turkmenistan Turkmenistan is a country in Central Asia, bordered by Kazakhstan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north and east, Afghanistan to the southeast, Iran to the south and southwest, and the Caspian Sea to the west. Ashgabat is the capital and largest city of the country. The population of the country is about 6 million, the lowest of the Central Asian republics. Turkmenistan is one of the most sparsely populated nations in Asia. Citizens of Turkmenistan are known as Turkmenistanis, Turkmenians or Turkmens.

And at last we have Turkmenistan. Another desert country, but this country's desert is called the karakum desert, only a small part of the kyzylkum desert is here. It's quite a fascinating desert, Darvaza gas crater is such a cool crater and it's quite creepy. Very interesting country as well!

5 Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan, officially the Kyrgyz Republic, formerly known as Kirghizia, is a landlocked country located in Central Asia. ...read more.

The least known country in central asia. It's so underrated! It is like Tajikistan in termps of landscape, it's a very mountainy country too and it has an awesomne flag with an Xbox logo! Also may I mention the lake Issyk-Kul which is one of the most interesting things about central asia as whole? There is a hidden town inside that lake, and the lake is located in the mountains, and it never freezes even though it sometimes can get -40 degrees celsius there! This is definitely one of my top picks here!

6 Afghanistan Afghanistan, officially the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, is a landlocked country located at the crossroads of Central and South Asia. Referred to as the Heart of Asia, it is bordered by Pakistan to the east and south, Iran to the west, Turkmenistan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north, Tajikistan to the northeast, and China to the northeast and east. Occupying 652,864 square kilometers (252,072 sq mi) of land, the country is predominantly mountainous with plains in the north and the southwest, which are separated by the Hindu Kush mountain range. As of 2021, its population is 40.2 million, composed mostly of ethnic Pashtuns, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks. Kabul is the country's largest ...read more.

The most dangerous country in central asia is also quite an interesting country. Now this is a country some people consider to be south asian and some people consider it to be central asian. I consider it to be south asian but since admin wouldn't approve this list because of "too few items" I just had to have it here. This country is quite interesting, it's another very mountainly country. Capital is Kabul. It's too bad this country is so poor and is so un-developed
