1 Kyrgyzstan Kyrgyzstan, officially the Kyrgyz Republic, formerly known as Kirghizia, is a landlocked country located in Central Asia. ...read more.

Yes, Kyrgyzstan, beauty of central asia tops this list. So many awesome and interesting things are there about Kyrgyzstan. Have you ever heard of the mountain lake known as Issyk-Kyl? That people have found a town buried under it? That the lake never freezes despite being a mountain lake? Well then you should know that it's located in Kyrgyzstan, the lesser known of the two mountain twins of central asia (yet the bigger one in terms of size), the other one being Tajikistan, the latter one which to an extent is somewhat more known, due to Emomali Rahmon being quite a known president. I find it quite interesting, mainly because of the issyk-kul lake, but history is quite interesting as well. I think the events after it recieved independence is quite interesting.

2 Kenya Kenya, officially the Republic of Kenya, is a country in Eastern Africa. At 580,367 square kilometres (224,081 sq mi), Kenya is the world's 48th largest country by area. With a population of more than 47.6 million in the 2019 census, Kenya is the 29th most populous country in the world. Kenya's capital and largest city is Nairobi, while its oldest, currently second largest city, and first capital is the coastal city of Mombasa. Kisumu City is the third-largest city and also an inland port on Lake Victoria. Other important urban centres include Nakuru and Eldoret. As of 2020, Kenya is the third-largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa after Nigeria and South Africa. Kenya is bordered by South Sudan ...read more.

Kenya. Whenever you think of africa as savannahs with lions, elephants, zebras, and stuff, you know those animals and enviroments native to Africa and what most little kids see Africa as, remember it's not the whole of africa as not everyone in Africa is savannahs and lions. However, the eastern parts of Africa is mostly that. Kenya and Tanzania are the finest examples of this and this gives both of these two countries a very "classic african" theme. Heck there's even a national park just outside of a city where you can find gazelles and lions and stuff I mean it's awesome.

3 Kuwait

Here is a very small arab country and this country isn't that known at all. I'm not sure there's a lot about Kuwait people know and I barely hear people talk about it anyway. Kuwait is mostly known because of an iraqi president known as Saddam Hussein tried to invade Kuwait once and make it part of Iraq. I think something interesting about Kuwait is how you live there. To be able to live in Kuwait you must speak arabic fluently and a bunch of other things as well. I'm pretty sure one of your parents have to be born in Kuwait as well. Quite cool.

Very rich and cool-looking country.

4 Kazakhstan Kazakhstan, officially known as the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a country in northern Central Asia, with a sliver of its territory west of the Ural River extending into Eastern Europe.

Well, it's the biggest country in central asia. Heck, it's almost as big as Argentina, and the biggest landlocked country in the world. Due to it, it's landscape varies very much. Most of the country is very plain, but there is the Kyzylkum desert to the south-west, mountains to the south-east and some forests in the north parts of the country. Oh yeah and there's something about a movie called Borat that somehow is relevant to this country. Don't know about it but yeah. Kazakstan is the least interesting country of central asia for me but it's still interesting.

5 Kiribati Kiribati, officially the Republic of Kiribati, is an island nation in the central Pacific Ocean. The permanent population is over 119,000 (2020), more than half of whom live on Tarawa atoll. The state comprises 32 atolls and one raised coral island, Banaba. They have a total land area of 811 square kilometres (313 square miles) and are dispersed over 3.5 million km2 (1.4 million sq mi). ...read more.

Have you wondered if there was a country with a total of three different time zones? There is. It's a giant archipelago (one of the biggest in Oceania) located both in Micronesia and Polynesia (although more in the latter) called Kiribati, with one of the most beautiful flags in the world. It's such unfortuanate this country is sinking currently.

6 Kosovo Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially recognised state in Southeastern Europe. It lies at the centre of the Balkans, occupying an area of 10,887 km2 (4,203 sq mi), with a population of 1.8 million; and is bordered by the uncontested territory of Serbia to the north and east, North Macedonia to the southeast, Albania to the southwest, and Montenegro to the west. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008 and has since gained diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by 98 member states of the United Nations. Most of central Kosovo is dominated by the vast plains and fields of Metohija and Kosovo. The Accursed Mountains and Šar Mountains ...read more.

Kosovo. Yeah it's not completely independent as Serbia considers Kosovo to be part of them. However for the sake of keeping as many items as possible on the list, Kosovo will be included. And even then it's way different from Serbia. One notable difference is that Kosovo isn't inhabited by mainly serbians. No, most of them are albanians. This gives Kosovo a very different culture that's quite interesting to study. Kosovo deserves to be on here.
