Top Ten Most Interesting Countries That Begin With "O", "Q", "Y" or "Z"

This list will be about the O, Q, Y and Z countries. I'll have all of them into one list because none of these letters contain more than two countries anyway, so with that being said, here's the list.

The Top Ten

1 Zimbabwe Zimbabwe, officially the Republic of Zimbabwe, is a landlocked sovereign state located in southern Africa, between the Zambezi and Limpopo Rivers.

Well it's still annoying when you constantly spam these jokes that get old on all my lists - darthvadern

And here we have one of the two countries on here that begin with the last letter of the alphabet, Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is slightly more interesting than Zambia for me personally and it's got to be due to the history. Now Zimbabwe and Zambia actually used to be part of the same country once, known as Rhodesia, but after independence it got a very interesting. For some reason the coup d'etat back in November 2017 has always catched my interests so much, which was when Emmerson Mnangagwa overthrew Robert Mugabe who had been in power for over thirty years and yeah it's pretty interesting in my opinion. - darthvadern

2 Oman Oman, officially the Sultanate of Oman, is an Arab country in the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula.

Of these countries beginning on O, Q, Y and Z, Oman, the only country that begins with the letter "O" is the country, that in my opinion, tops this list. It's known for being one of the friendliest countries in the arab world and it's one of the most conservative countries in the arab world. Just by looking at the pictures in Oman it's like travelling back in time because the culture and stuff is still the same as it was a few hundreds of years ago, it's not super modern, like the UAE or Qatar for example, but it looks much prettier and ancient, which I love. Oman just had to top this list. - darthvadern

3 Zambia The Republic of Zambia is a landlocked country in Southern Africa, neighbouring the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Tanzania to the north-east, Malawi to the east, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia to the south, and Angola to the west.

The northern neighbour of Zimbabwe, and it's also the safer and more democratic country of the two. It has a pretty interesting shape to say the least, as it's basically divided between a bigger western and a smaller eastern part because in the middle, the congo panhandle almost seperates the entire country in the middle. This makes the shape of the country kinda resemble Latvia in a way, although Latvia has sea around it mostly while Zambia doesn't. The capital city Lusaka happens to be located in the southeast of the western part of the country, very close to the border with Zimbabwe, although it's not too close to Zimbabwe's capital city Harare. Eh, anyway, although I barely know anything about Zambia, but one thing this country is generally famous for are the victoria falls located at the border with Zimbabwe and it has breathtaking views and is the largest waterfall in the world, but not the widest (that title goes to Khone Falls in South East Asia located at the border along ...more - darthvadern

4 Qatar Qatar, officially the State of Qatar, is a sovereign country located in Southwest Asia, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula.

Qatar, the richest country in the world. Ok it might change a bit in the future, but one thing for sure is that Qatar is ONE OF the richest countries in the world. It's a generally small country, being a peninsula on the arab peninsula but man has it made a lot of money with oil. Thanks to this, this has caused it to be one of the richest countries in the world. Just look at the capital city Doha. It looks super developed and hi-technical kinda, just like a lot of it's neighbours like Manama in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. It's interesting how the managed to become such a developed country. - darthvadern

5 Yemen Yemen, officially known as the Republic of Yemen, is an Arab country in Western Asia, occupying the southwestern to the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula.

It's very unfortunate that this country just west of Oman, a highly developed and safe country, happens to be in a brutal war and thus being one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Despite all of this, Yemen is still a generally interesting country. If you me then you know I find every country to be interesting in their own way, and I especially find the arab countries to be cool and interesting. I don't actually know too much about Yemen, but it's interesting for what it is. - darthvadern
