Hungary is a sovereign state in Europe. It is situated in the Carpathian Basin and is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Romania to the east, Serbia to the south, Croatia to the southwest, Slovenia to the west, Austria to the northwest, and Ukraine to the northeast.
In my suprising and unpopular opinion (or for short IMSaUO), Hungary easly tops the list. Because of many reasons. It's one of the flattest countries in Europe and it has such a big history. It actually used to be one of the biggest countries in Europe and used to be a kingdom, and Austria used to be part of it. I wish it was more known. Compared to Italy this gets no attention, the reason I just compared Italy to Hungary is because their flags are almost the same except Italy's flag is verticval and Hungary's flag isn't. I prefer the hungarian flag. This country also has such an interesting culture! They share the same favourite vegetable as mine: paprika / pepper and they love to use it. I love Hungary! - darthvadern
Message me if you want to know more about Hungary. It would be a pleasure for me, just like its inclusion on the list. - Alkadikce
Good country for foreigners, but don't consider living here. This country may be everyone's favorite on this list, but sadly it's a country that's being ruined by the political elite, who are literally forming a new kind of dictatorship.

1) Gave birth to the most influential family of Europe... the Habsburgs
2) The Habsburgs had ruled about every European country except ENG and RUS, there even was a Habsburg Mexico
3) Arnold Schwarzenegger
4) Hitler was German and Beethoven was Austrian *cough*
5) Started WW1 and basically WW2
6) Is placed always high in Winter Olympics
7) Was one of the strongest countries in Europe and now look at it
8) Still has a permanent relationship with Hungary
9) South Tyrol is Austrian
10) Uh and again, wrote all of Europe’s history with its Monarchy.
Historians talk about how influenctial this country was and how it’s sneaking below everyone’s noses. The reason why it isn’t apart of Germany was due to its history
