Yeah, Thom was the one who decided to switch to Electronic on Kid A and Amnesiac after becoming "disillusioned with the mythology of Rock music" and having taken influences from IDM, Krautrock, Jazz, Classical and even Abstract Hip Hop.
But Radiohead didn't completely abandon Rock music on Kid A. On the songs "Optimistic" and "In Limbo", you can hear that they are very much guitar driven Rock songs. - DarkBoi-X

For Kid A and Amnesiac, they took influences from many Electronic music artists on the Warp record label such as Aphex Twin, who Thom as named as his biggest influences and they also took influence from the Jazz of Miles Davis, Charles Mingus and Alice Coltrane and even 20th Century Classical such as
Krzysztof Penderecki and Oliver Messiaen.
For In Rainbows, they had taken influences from Rock, Hip Hop, Experimental and Electronic of all types ranging from Bjork to M.I.A to Modeselektor. - DarkBoi-X
