After a Bond fan opens his/her new Bond book which he or she just ordered, the fan instantly know that he or her is going to deal with a brand new set of character from whom each has a specific role: Bond girl, Bond ally, main villain and henchman. On this site there have been lists of the best Bond henchmen and the best Bond villains (main villains and henchmen mixed together), but there has been no list featuring the main villains ONLY.
